Do you guys think I should call and see if they got it? My TMDSAS hasn't been processed yet, do you think they're waiting for it before they acknowledge recepit of my secondary, maybe?? I don't want them to think I'm being pushy or anything, I just want to make sure they got it and I know the mail isn't THIS slow... I live in Texas, not another country...

Did anyone enclose a self-addressed stamped postcard with their UT San Antonio secondary? If so, has anyone gotten theirs back to confirm receipt of the secondary? I sent mine a few weeks ago and I haven't gotten it in the mail...

It took a LONG time to get mine back. Almost three weeks I think. I would call them though. what can it hurt?

Congrats to you all with UTSW and Tehc interviews!! I was just wondering for all of you with UTSW, Tech and A&M interviews
1.) when did your TMDSAS process
2.) when did you send in your secondaries
3.) when is your interview date

I processed before a couple of you with interviews to those schools ( I was 7/14) but only sent in my secondaries 2-3 weeks ago. Do you all think this could be holding me up on dgetting interviews at those schools (assuming I will get any from those schools at all 😱 )

Just another crazy question from a paranoid pre med... You all know how it goes.

Also good luck to all of you interviewing soon, maybe I will run into some of you at my san Antonio interview on 8/16. I feel like holding up a sign that says "all SDN obsessive posters meet here" so we can all finally meet!! 🙂

I got mine back in 4 days. (I sent mine certified mail w/return receipt, so maybe thats faster than the postcard thing)

Couldn't hurt to call.

Good...no worries then! However, I AM worried about the drive to Fort Worth. I hate going places by myself (especially places I've never been to!). It's supposed to be a simple drive...we'll see.

I'd like to report that TMDSAS still hasn't processed my app. And it was in just under a month ago. 😡

Ok so I know I'm just being OCD about it but maybe someone else had the same thing happen... I'm still waiting for my TMDSAS to be processed and sent out and for the last few days when I have looked at the status page it shows that my transcript was received, but there isn't a C for complete... All of the other sections that have a spot for it to be complete have the C, so I'm wondering why this one does not... I only had one transcript to send them, so I know they aren't waiting for another or anything... Has anyone else had it show in the system that the transcript was received but that section was not marked complete??? I know I could email them but I don't want them to get annoyed with me... After all, it does say that the list is not up to date... I just want to make sure my file isn't held up later for some reason... I don't think I can wait any longer than I already am going to have to...

I had the same question, and this was the TMDSAS response, Emily:

"Do not worry about seeing the ?C? at this stage. Once we have processed your file, you will receive a letter and applicant profile and the ?C? should be in there only if all transcripts are received. I'm checking like 10 times a day to see if there's anything new in my file... I think it's cuz I'm on here and everyone's getting interviews and everything already... I heard that the TMDSAS apps are sent out every Wednesday or Thursday, so maybe you will be transmitted today or tomorrow! Where in TX are you?

I had the same question, and this was the TMDSAS response, Emily:

"Do not worry about seeing the ?C? at this stage. Once we have processed your file, you will receive a letter and applicant profile and the ?C? should be in there only if all transcripts are received. If after you receive the letter the ?C? is not there then please email me and I will review your file."

Hope that this helps. 🙂

I can concur this message from TMDSAS--I had the same problem. It won't say C until someone processes your app.

Be on the lookout for your applicant profile being partially filled out--this means your TMSAS is about to be processed. Also, be on the lookout for any mistakes when you click on the "formatted/printable" application link--the last chance to make a change/update to any errors on your application is right when they are about to finish processing.

I've been long ago processed by AMCAS (submitted everything at the same time). I'm complete at....let me see....9 or ten schools. 😀

I'm in Dallas... I just decided to apply to some AMCAS schools, so I just submitted my application on Monday... I had to wait to see if I got Fee Assistance... So I'm not complete anywhere... I have sent in my secondaries and LORs for Baylor and Johns Hopkins, so as soon as AMCAS gets around to processing my primary I'll be complete with them at least... And I've sent in all my secondaries for my TX schools except Southwestern... I'm almost through with that one, even though it might be horrible...

Yeah, last year was ALL about procrastination. I've learned my lesson this year.

I recommend traveling light: small purse, perhaps a tasteful folio containing a copy of your application, Personal Statement, Secondary App (you never know when this might come in handy), plus something to write down questions/interviewer's names, etc.

I called them just now and they said my file is going to be processed today......

I was processed by TMDSAS on 7/21 and I had my secondary in a week before that......

Tech is a little slow on their processing!! 😡

Yes. Also, if you have online banking, you will know when your check is cashed, which is a receipt of another sort.

As an aside, am I correct in assuming that most people's interview invites came ~2-3 weeks post transmission?

So once the Validation date is filled in, we know it's been processed and sent to the schools? It still reads all zeros, but it can't be long now, can it??

I was so excited yesterday to see the Applicant profile was partially filled and then I checked this morning and my grades have been added!
