I really hope that’s the case. Maybe it depends on the day you interviewed as well? I figured we’d all get an email at the same time regardless of accepted, denied, or waitlisted, but I guess we don’t know how they’re doing it.

Did y'all both interview Friday?
 
Did anyone that interviewed with Texas Tech get declined? Or do you think if you had an interview, you have a spot on the waitlist?

I had my interview on 12/4 and have yet to hear back. They said it can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to get our decision, though some people have heard back earlier.
 
I think TWU only accepts 40, UTMB accepts 60, and UTHSA accepts 50. I only applied to those 3, so I’m unsure of anywhere else.

For those declining TWU / UTMB where are you going and why if you don’t mind me asking? I got accepted into both and I’m not sure which one I’d like to go to because they’re both so great.

I think twu because of the location in bigger cities! I heard there more opportunity for variety of placement in fieldworks

I’ve heard many people choosing UTMB over TWU because of how great their program is.

TWU accepts 40/ each location correct?

They are both top of the line schools! I work in inpatient rehab at a major hospital in Dallas and have met a ton of students doing their fieldwork- all from TWU and UTMB. That’s not an exaggeration, those are the only two schools I’ve met students from. You are going to get an amazing education at either!

Oh no you’re fine! I was referring to TWU
 
i was put on the waitlist for UTMB -- kinda sad but still hopeful since it is my first choice; however I am not really sure how I should approach this since we don't know where we are on the waitlist and I would love to go to school there but I don't know how long I am able to wait!
if anyone has any advice on what to do when waitlisted pls share 🙂 hehe
 
For those who were accepted into either utmb or TWU did they give a deadline as to when you need to accept/decline?
