UTHSCSA is my top choice! I’ve heard so many good things about the program and San Antonio has a lot of potential for jobs after graduation. Same with TWU!

UTMB is an excellent program. My previous mentor was an assistant professor and had nothing but good things to say about the program.

I have friends who attend utmb, TWU and Texas tech. They have all said great things about the program. Those schools are also ranked in the top #50 for the best ot school in the US.

I took it today. You can't prepare for it and my only piece of advice is to really manage your time well. Most of the questions you have to read a long paragraph before answering and you really don't get enough time to contemplate each answer. Go with your gut! I truly thought i did HORRIBLE but my score ended up being good!

Do you know if we need to email them our scores? Their instructions for the exam say we can email our scores to an email of our choosing on one of the slides. Do they want us to email it to them? Or is it implying we can email it to ourselves for our own record?

I don't think so, it might just be if we want a copy for ourselves! At least I hope not because I definitely emailed it to myself lol
 
Hi all, did TTUHSC tell everyone at the end of their interview to wait 4-6 weeks to hear back from them? Some people have heard back sooner than 4 weeks so.... are they just saying this to the people who have been interviewing closer to winter break or literally everyone?

What is a good score? Could you just tell by looking at the numbers next to each section and the “moderate/strong/etc” ratings? I’m just curious what’s average for students

They said it to me 4-6 weeks and I heard back 2 weeks later. I think they say that to everyone

They told me that as well when I interview in October, I heard back in 5 weeks!

Your time management advice was key. I really thought we were going to get 90 minutes instead of 55 based on their email, so managing your time was sooo crucial! I was so sure I did horrible as well when I was getting towards the end, but when I saw my scores I was so relieved and happy! I’m glad you ended up with good scores as well!

I just finished my interview with UTMB and they said that they’re also sending out acceptances / declinations that day! They said they coordinate with TWU and other schools. My interview with UTHSA is that day though, so I guess we hear from them after the holidays!

When did you hear from UTHSCSA about an interview? I got an email at the end of September that my application was under faculty review.

I got an invitation 11/13 and I received instructions for my interview on 11/16! I believe they’re holding different days for interview so I wouldn’t lose hope yet!

During the UTMB interview all the told us was December 15th! No idea about time of day if that’s what you were wondering
 
Hello everyone! I’ve been checking this thread religiously and finally decided to say hello! Today is the day most of us find out (I for one am waiting on TWU. I just graduated from undergrad there on Friday and I absolutely love the school). Good luck everyone and keep your heads up if the news you receive is not the news you get!! Bad news does not define who you are!
 
UTMB hasn’t sent out emails, but my friend’s status changed on his UTMB account. It changed to “admit: accept or decline”!
 
For those who have gotten waitlisted, which TWU campus did y'all interview for?
