Same here, I will get all done tomorrow. I just got two shots today and will got another two tomorrow to get all done. The price makes me so depressed. Just got the second email from Mike to ask for my updated immunization status 🙁

You arm(s) are going to be sore for a few days. I received the TDAP after my interview and my arm was sore for ~3days.

I see you interview UT on the 24, I was there too.

I was there since 11:30am, my interview was at 1pm. What time was your interview? I really like UT campus, students and staff there. It looks like UT is my first choice now after I visited their campus. I'm crossing my finger for UT :xf:, counting everyday until Spring Break, lol, not because of the break but because of the result. I felt kind of good about my interview though but I don't know. Everything can happen.

My interview was at 1:30. I didn't like the UT COP school. It looked old and depressing.

😀 I like the traditional look. Just like Rice University. Now I like UT more than UH after having interview there past week 😛

Yall are tripping. I like the modern/technological look. I don't think I could spend 4 years at UT COP(that's if I get accepted). UH COP is pretty old as well.
 
I hate the weather south of Austin, so A&M, TSU, UH are out. I would never apply to a religious institution, so UIW is out. This leaves UT, TTU, and UNT.

I visited the UT CoP and I really liked it, but a lot of factors have gone into my decision that TTUHSC SOP was my first choice, even though I haven't toured the campuses yet.

Cost of living was one of the biggest factors, as I really want to minimize the amount of loans I take. Unless grandma kicks the bucket in the next year or so I'm financing this all through government loans and grants. Climate makes me think Abilene > Amarillo, though Austin is still nice. While UT is ranked higher than TTU, I like TTU's additional rotations and clinical focus.

UNT is a well-established school, but their pharmacy program is brand-spankin'-new so I'm a bit wary, though it would definitely save me money since I could stay at home.
 
I chose Tech over UT cause living in Austin is much more expensive and parking really sucks in downtown Austin. 6th street is fun but its just another distraction I would rather avoid. I like the small town environment much better since everything is literally 5 minutes away and zero traffic 😀.

Does anyone know if the Amarillo campus has a gym? I interviewed at Abilene and they didn't 🙁.

Yes they do. It's not part of the school but there is a gym in Amarillo. It's called Golds Gym. The students said the membership is included in out tuition.

Just got the official acceptance email after submitting my immunization last night 🙂. So excited !!!
 
Forgot to add my choice of campus: Amarillo/Dallas. Anyone will be in Amarillo?

Actually I interviewed at Abilene and really love people over there but anyway, Amarillo is the main campus. So I'm still debating. The pharmacist I work with graduated from Amarillo so he said I should go to Amarillo.

True, but it's live, so any questions during class would still be answered right there and then. Also, I don't really mind emailing them questions from my apartment if needed. 😀

Don't quote me on this, but I see a trend that it's done alphabetically and by campus starting with Amarillo. But I could totally be wrong. 😕

I haven't gotten mine yet.(Abilene)

When I started my first year, I would say the faculty lecturers were 60/40 AMA to ABI, but we've got a lot more faculty on the ABI campus now. It's pretty much even to say the least. I wouldn't let the distance learning determine which campus you want to go since it's pretty much the same in the beginning. On the other hand, if you're looking ahead, you will have A LOT of distance learning if you choose Dallas the last 2 years. Hopefully, by the time you guys get to that point, we'll have more faculty to accommodate students in Dallas.

Not that I am aware of. You should receive the letter within a week of getting the acceptance email.

I called today about not receiving instructions on getting my e-raider account set up and they said that they would most likely fire off an email to all accepted students by Wednesday with instructions on how to set everything up. I know they have their last set of interviews to do this Friday so they are still pretty busy.
 
I finally got my acceptance email after sending them my updated immunization record! @WeirdPharm, I sent you a facebook group request🙂
 
Accepted!!!

Received my acceptance email this morning after submitting my final immunization record yesterday night.

My stats are:

GPA: 3.8
PCAT: 83
2+ years volunteering at pharmacies

Good luck to the rest of the applicants, the wait is worth it!

I went ahead and called the IT department because I just got too paranoid in waiting. :-/ It didn't take long to set it up.

I got my acceptance email around February 27 give or take a few days and I received my letter in the mail today (March 9)...I know there were a couple people wondering about that

I got Abilene so I'm extra excited...plus the extra touch they added really convinced me this is the school I want to go to...

When y'all get the letters in the mail make sure and open it over a trash can lol
 
I got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday. Since I'm away from home, I haven't been able to open it yet, but I'm pretty sure I was assigned to Amarillo/Dallas.
