5th Season's hotel is right there near the school on I40 and it's $40 a night. Not sure on free shuttle but I didnt hear about one. No, it's not too bad driving in snow but you do have to practice some before you get comfortable.

I interviewed yesterday and it was pretty laid back. Personal interview is first thing in the morning so you get that out of the way. Dont worry about the critical skills test too much. Group project is easy... well, as long as your group is good and pulls their weight . I thought everyone in my group was pretty freaking sharp. All in all a good day.

Now I have to wait until mid Feb for an answer...

I have an interview Feb 3 in Amarillo. Reading this thread really makes me relax a little more! And it really helps that the personal interview is the first thing in the morning! 🙂

Always remember that interviewing is a two way street. They are trying to find a match, just as you are trying to find one too. Looking at it this way makes interviews a lot more relaxing and fun.

I believe it was 45 minutes. Two interviewers: 1 current faculty and 1 current student.

I think my interview took the full time, and then some. I do remember 8 questions, but each question had its subset questions. (that's why it takes longer)

It's gonna be chilly this week, so bring a jacket! I would stay at either Residence Inn (I-20) or Comfort Suites near Ambler Ave. They are close to the school, there's no traffic whatsoever! Looks like we'll be seeing each other this Friday 🙂

I had an interview back on Jan 12th, I heard that the admissions team is supposed to be sending out acceptance letters today or tomorrow for those who interviewed up to the 27th of January as well, good luck to all! 😉

Ya I was told the same thing. I called Mr. Mike and spoke with him. He told me that Jan 12 and 27 would find out this week. Feb 3 and 10 plus people who weren't picked in the Jan 12 and 27th would be considered at ad com meeting on Mon and Tues. Another round of acceptances will go out late next week. Good luck guys!

To those of us who interviewed on Jan 12th and 27th, I was last told from Mr. Schwettman that we were going to get acceptance letters between Feb 10th and 15th... so this week some time! I was also informed today that 60 acceptance letters are about to get sent out!!

From the conversation I had, the dean at TT wants you to get the letter via snail mail first so that you can open it. After a couple more days they will update your Merlin account with an acceptance notice. I dont think an email is sent at all. If you dont get anything, you didnt get accepted for that round.

My assumption is that the committee met today and sent the letters today. Those letters should reach us Mon or Tues with your Merlin most likely being updated by next Thursday. Again that's just my opinion. Regardless youll know by next week if you were accepted.

I may have posted this earlier but for the first round they usually send out about ~55 acceptance letters for the 88 students they interviewed on the 13th and 27th, on average, from years past. Every 2 subsequent interview dates is considered an interview round. I didnt ask what the breakdown was after the first 2 dates.

He said end of the week so not really sure what day. I interviewed on Feb 3 so I wouldn't know for a little while longer. But I'll definitely post if I get accepted!

For me, they sent out email, mail, and updated on Merlin last year. I got the email first and then the snail mail a few days later confirming my campus assignment.

Yes, it may be true. Mr. Mike told all of interviewees on Feb 10 that if you receive an email asking for immunization, it is a hint they want to accept you. He's so nice to answer a lot of questions 😀
