This could only happen to me.

The text message option is totally gone under all of my contacts. Not only that, but the bar you could touch to automatically call a number is gone as well.

Any ideas what might have happened here?

ETA: It hasn't happened with all of my contacts, but it's a lot of them.

I was putting phone numbers into what I guess was the "land line" field instead of the mobile field. I couldn't figure out why a couple of my contacts had text function, but a whole bunch didn't. Then I remembered that recently we got a staff directory and I had put everybody into my phone. I guess I just typed all the numbers into the wrong field because I was either tired or in a hurry.

It's all good now.
