I am fairly sure ashgirl got slapped with a post restriction this past night cycle and won't be able to post or PM for a day or two.
She told us that could possibly happen to her this cycle. I don't know why she said she knew kaydubs was a wolf (except possibly just because of LIS and his list), but she was the one who told me that kaydubs was the toy giver. She offered that info up to our group even before LIS brought it up yesterday.

Did she bring it up before or after LIS said on the thread that the toy giver was a wolf? And before or after conversion night? Sorry, I sound so paranoid of everyone after a conversion happens.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you. But to me, when you said "It doesn't appear that anyone has any info so I would rather lynch a non-villager than risk losing a villager." ... that is a very different reason for wanting to lynch me than because you don't want to risk that I lied about not having a separate win condition.

My sense - perhaps incorrectly, I'll be the first to admit it - is that you're tap-dancing.

I was saying that since we didn't have any good info, lynching you was the best option IMO. I feel like we are going around in circles. I guess I should have expanded on my thought process more or something. Meh.

I think BI got to count wolves from the graveyard, which makes sense with her role, and then tell us that info. It seems like she's not really back though.

She told us that was kaydub's ability before LIS said it, and it was preconversion. She didn't know it was wolfy at that point as far as I know...she just knew that was what kaydubs could do. When LIS started saying the toy person was the wolf and BI seemed to confirm he'd been right and we'd killed 3 wolves so far, we went with it and outed kaydubs as the toy person. Sure, I guess she could be converted, but at this point anyone could have been. Based on conversations today though, I don't think she is.

Okay, thanks for the info. The way she phrased it sounded weird, like she had more concrete info beyond that kaydubs was the toy giver. Which made me wonder if she was the convert, knew that kaydubs was getting lynched because the toy info was already known to some villagers, and tried maybe slightly too hard to sound cooperative with the kaydubs lynch to make herself seem more like a villager. See? Paranoia.
If she had given you that info post-conversion, then it would clear her as a villager, so that's also why I asked.
 
Was the sudden posting restriction part of her role? Because if it's not, and it was sent by whoever is sending the posting restrictions, that doesn't make sense that she would know about it ahead of time. Or that the person sending the restrictions would choose to totally silence her, because that doesn't help the villagers to silence someone.
 
It was related to her role, yes. She didn't know it would happen for sure, she just told us it was a possibility and if she stopped replying to our PMs once the day cycle started to assume she was in fact silenced but she would be watching the thread.

I call BS on this. I haven't heard of any roles in the game that have that sort of role restriction possibility.

Actually, I have strong reason to believe Gwen is telling the truth. I had this restriction where I couldn't speak or PM for the first two days of the game and I was told by mods that someone chose to copy my "ability" last night.

Ahhhh. Yes, that would do it. So that's who Ashgirl is. Fair 'nuff.
 
Still weird though. If she said that she might be silenced for a while, that means she at least suspected that was your "ability", right? So why copy you if she knew she might silence herself?
 
Because we didn't know if converts retain their old abilities or get new ones. We didn't know if she'd inherit the silencing Cyndia had at the beginning or get to post because Cyndia can apparently post now. It was a risk, sure. But we figured the most likely convert was a veteran and since LIS had cleared Cyndia and Devyn that seemed like as good as any place to start. In hindsight maybe it maybe wasn't the smartest thing we could have done (we're all noobs in our group, you know), but oh well.

She told me and Gwen the info she'd learned about people before she was silenced so it's not like the info isn't out there. She just can't contribute anything new through today most likely.

All the family assets have been sold. A new will has been read. There is only one item left in the estate that has been passed on. Due to paranoia, PM-ing has been suspended.

Lynch lissa. Lissa seemed to want the LIS lynch to happen more than other people did, and while he wasn't a villager, he would be a safe lynch from a wolf's perspective. And as a veteran, she might be more likely to be chosen to be the last wolf. That's all I got, and it's better than a random vote.:shrug:

You would be incorrect. I'm the awesome uncle and always have been. I am however suspicious of you which I hinted at to Jayna in my nightly PM (part of my role).

I'm a villager. I've role revealed to UFO. I don't want to role reveal on the thread, because 1) a convert would claim the same role they always had, and 2) my ability is useless if the wolves know I have it. UFO can confirm that I still have my ability, though, if that makes you think I'm a villager.
I need to go to anatomy lab, will be back around 12pm pst.

I can confirm Willow still has the same ability so I don't think she is the convert. So I'm going to ****Lynch Lissa****
 
So far ability hasn't been predictive of wolf, so I don't know how much use a role/ability reveal is at this point. I agree willow made me suspicious, but I am not convinced yet she's the convert.
 
I'm aware of what willows role is as well, and I can also confirm she still has her ability. I have no idea whether conversion has any impact on retention of abilities, but I have reason to believe willow is not a convert.
 
Ashgirl told me abilities for TP, FS, and UFO. I can't say they still have them, but I know what they had. She'd also looked into chillbo, jam, and kaydubs before they died. I did just get a PM from the uncle which proves lissa still has her role. I just feel like because the originals had villager-esque roles we probably shouldn't depend on roles and abilities for the convert.
 
Yeah... at this point it's more figuring out who kaydubs would have picked as a convert. I was leaning towards lissa or fs, but I can't decide if she would have picked a newer player.
