I think you and I have very similar stats. And it's annoying because my AMCAS has been verified for a few weeks now and I'm waiting for the verification that I'm more excited about. I was completed on August 11th (Submitted late afternoon on the 7th, a Friday). Hopefully we can start submitting secondaries within the week. We're still making good time!!

I had the same problem. The best part is that they are missing one of my transcripts, and I called to confirm if all of them were received when I first sent my application. fml

Submitted everything yesterday- awaiting for AACOMAS to fill in my grades ( i chose to pay the 100$ to have it done correctly seeing as I have over 170 credit hours I figured I would make a mistake somewhere). Are your stats competitive? We are both from Oklahoma-- OSU is a very good school with a strict bias for in-state students.

Yeah I definitely applied to OSU COM GPA is solid- MCAT was weak, but I have over 3 years in healthcare experience as an RN I'm hoping helps. WBU?

Eh, 3.49 cGPA 3.28 sGPA. My GPA started at TCC and ended with a 3.1 cGPA. I moved to the University of Arkansas and maintained a 3.8 cGPA starting at around 53 credits and I will be ending this semester at around 128 credits--so I have somewhat of a very good trend going on if that counts for something. I also have 6 years experience in the healthcare setting as PCT; working in the E.R., Rehab floors, med. surg. , and speciliaty hospitals such as orthopedic and bariatric facilities. I am currently in an assisted living complex rolling on the easy train while I get through with my last semester of school. I am going to PM you.

Your stats are low, but if you are an URM then that will give you "some" headway. What is your breakdown on the MCAT, specifically?

WOW. We almost have identical scores 125 PS/ 123 CARS / 126 BS / 128 Psy. Soc.

I am applying to some 17-20 schools. I have been going thorugh and weeding out a lot of schools I wouldn't have the money to attend or I just wouldn't want to attend in general. You have to remember to factor in the cost of travel and the cost of secondaries. Some range from $20-$300. Eek.

If you are still waiting for your application to be verified for the FIRST time, then it can take some time. It also depends on when your transcripts and all of that were sent in. Does it say "Verifying"?

Ahh. So it goes faster if you are a reapplicant? And yes it's the ugly yellow box!

No, I am a first time applicant, but I sent in all of my information well ahead of time. I didn't submit until 2-3 months after my transcripts were received by the AACOMAS.

Gotcha. All my LOR and transcripts were processed when I submitted. Three of the four arrived a few months ago but one was processed the day I submitted. I don't get what's taking so long to verify my app.

If your stats are around a 3.4 and 26/502 MCAT, it won't affect you much. If it will be verified in late September, expect the majority of secondaries to come early October (first two weeks).

Yeah you just wait for secondaries now! Because you verified by AACOMAS means that they are going to send you verified application to schools. GOOD LUCK!

How are people who submitted days after me being verified before me?

I have a friend who submitted weeks before me not get verified until after I did. It's not uncommon, it seems almost random.

Quick question: If we add more extracurriculars/achievements after submission but before verification, the schools will only see the updated app with the new stuff right? Or will they see the new stuff with a date next to it of when it was added. Basically, can school tells when we add achievements/extracurriculars to our application if we write them up before verification?
