Thanks! I got the "We have processed your secondary application and materials we have on file..." email on July 10th but took the DAT July 15th so I'm guessing my app was complete the first week of August.
 
Has anyone received a rejection from here yet? My application is still on hold, not sure what that means.:scared:

My mail out date was 6/28 and I received a rejection via snail mail sometime around the end of July.

Just received an interview invite (Nov. 7th). Any suggestions on where to stay or if you should get a rental car? Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Hey Guys,
I recently interviewed at ASDOH and I think it went well. A few days after the interview I received an email saying that I was still under consideration by admissions. I was just wondering if everyone who interviewed here got the email too or is it selection based?

Azra and the male secretary (I forgot his name) told our group it was selection based. In my opinion, I don't think it's as stringent as the selection process for getting an interview. I think people that get rejected right after an interview just weren't a good fit for the school (or they messed up in their interview). This is just theory though. Keep and eye out in your snail mailbox for a rejection letter because another SDN user received that same email but then got the snail mail just a couple days later saying they were rejected.

hey everyone, my interview was a couple of weeks ago (end of sept.) and I have yet to hear from them through email or snail mail. Anyone else in the same boat? Wondering if I should shoot them an email or just sit and wait.

Same here. I interviewed last week. I have yet to hear back. Hopefully its nothing bad~?
 
Has anyone taken advantage of meeting with the dental students before or after the interview? I think it sounds like a great idea I just wanted to hear some feedback from it.

I also interviewed last week and have not heard back. Azra told us they would let us know within a week if we are still in the running or not. Has anyone tried calling them to find out?

i got the "still under consideration" email the morning after my interview
 
Just got an interview invite today for the first week of December! They have one more November date, which I didn't take because it's this Thursday and I need to fly out... Quick question: is the "still under consideration" email the one I want to receive post-interview? Good luck to everyone!

Congrats! I've been anxiously waiting to here from them since August 15 when my app was complete but haven't. Good luck on your interview!

I was complete on 8/16 and in the same situation. I'm grateful for the interviews I've gotten but still crossing my fingers for this one. Good Luck everyone!

5th interview but hopefully I can cancel it and will be accepted to one of the other schools on December 2!!!

ASDOH was my favorite interview and one of my two top choices. I would go to the interview and see for yourself what they have for you to offer if I were you.

Agreed with Jps17kl. I didn't think much of the school when I applied, but it became my one of my tops. If you're not completely set on any of the schools you interviewed at so far (or if you get accepted to a school you aren't set on), definitely visit this school. It's uh-mazing.
 
Wow well thank you the advice! I will keep that in mind on December 2.

hey....does ASDOH show up on anyone's AADSAS portal? I interviewed there a few months ago, but still it hasn't shown up online.
 
How many people got this email? Def seems like a good thing, but why send it out before Dec. 2?
 
If it is closed, why doesn't it still show up when you search for it? It should

I got this fb group invite e-mail too. Hmm...Did anyone who interviewed not get this e-mail?
 
Where is everyone from who received this email? It all seems really odd to me because they arent allowed to give any indications before dec 2, also they sent these out on Thanksgiving??

Need some clarification. This makes Monday seem a lifetime away now lol
 
I didn't get it and I interviewed last month.

Expected since I didn't do so well on my interview...

The email certainly can't be a bad thing, so congrats to those that got it!

I just emailed azra and she said it was sent in error. They had a glitch in their system.

Hmm... Guess we'll see on Monday if it was sent in error because it was sent early or sent in error because it was sent to random applicants.
(Though I'd believe it was the former. 😀)
 
Just some random thoughts...

The fb page might be a secret group, so you wouldn't be able to search for it. Last year, a couple of schools gave a little heads up to some people over the weekend. Like a call to tell them to expect some news. It wasn't an official acceptance, but it basically was. Not sure that this is the case here, but I would just guess that it's a good sign. We already know that not everyone got it. And it's not likely they accidentally sent it to all the rejected. Guess we will see in a couple of days. Such a tease. Speaking of teases, are they still having you try on white coats at the interview?

And agreed with the rest of the post. Sure the "sent in error" was to mask the mistake of sending it early. 😛
