I typed it but then printed it out and hand-signed my signature with my typed out name below the signature! I would keep it to a page! If you need any pointers you can DM me!

I just got a phone call asking if I’m still interested. Was waitlisted Dec 7th so fingers crossed this is a good sign!
 
I got the same call at 9:18am hopefully they get back to us soon? Did anyone hear back from them right after the call?

Does the school email updates on application statuses? I interviewed on Friday and my portal has changed from invited for interview to waitlisted. I was wondering if they send out any emails or calls to verify this, I haven't heard anything from them.

Usually they do not call if you are waitlisted

They will probably send you an email. You likely didn’t get one since it was MLK day, but I got one when I was waitlisted.

When I was placed on the wait list I received an email so you should definitely get one soon
 
Just received acceptance email after interviewing on Friday, is there a FB group for accepted students, need to hopefully find a roommate.
 
I'm looking into housing close enough to the school so I will be able to walk, does anyone have any recommendations. I know university courts is a good option but I think their sight is down and can not get much info about it. Thanks!

They do have some dates in Feb. However, I called the admissions office 2 weeks ago and they mentioned they were planning on wrapping up interviews by mid Feb but it wasn’t definitive. 🙁

Thanks for the reply! Contacted them earlier today to see if anything changed, pretty much got the same answer! Hopefully they’ll open up some more dates.
 
I got an offer today! I got a "still interested?" call on the first week of December and then on 2nd January but then heard nothing back and got an offer finally today!

Just interviewed today...Dr. Abel said our interview group was the last for this cycle with maybe a few exceptions
 
Hi everyone! do you know if students usually live on -campus or off? I’ll be new to the area so not sure where to look for to find housing

No on campus housing for dental, everyone is off campus. There are a lot of places to rent nearby or big student housing complexes not too far away.

I'll also be new to the area, but from what I've seen your best bet for a complex near the campus would be Axis 360 or Collegiate Village. Although they're not technically walking distance (20min & 40min walk) they do have shuttles going between the school and complex. If you want legitimate walking distance (5-10mins) I think you would have to look into house style apartments. I've seen a lot advertised around the campus. Hopefully that helps a little!

Yeah axis looks like it’s going to be the place I herd about university court but I can’t find any information on it, did you have any additional info in the apartment style houses close to campus

I don't know too much about them. Check out websites like Trulia, Zillow or Hotpads because a handful of places pop up around the campus daily
