Hi Everyone.

I have an interview on Feb. 7th and would like to know if anyone would like to meet up on Feb. 6th to see the d-town, campus, eateries, etc. PM if you have time. Thanks!
 
Second call: Boston-area prospective applicants are welcome to join the alumni reception at the upcoming Yankee Dental conference on February 1. Advanced registration is required, but the event is otherwise free. If you are interested in getting better insight about Case School of Dental Medicine and make connections with area alumni before you begin your application for 2014, you are encouraged to attend. Another reception we are encouraging prospective applicants to attend is our reception in Toronto, so Canadian and upper New York applicants can register for the reception on March 8 at http://cwrusodm-toronto.eventbrite.com .

Do you know how many rounds of acceptance there are? My interview day is in April 2nd. It is kind of late. I hope I still have a good chance to get in. Thank you very much.

We anticipate 4 rounds, but you can move up your interview through the scheduling program if you are worried about that.

Do notices not typically go out until the end of the day? I thought I would have heard something by now since they started going out yesterday. Still :fingerscrossed:

Same here - was anyone accepted this round that was CR from round 1? Or are the CRs all held until the end for re-evaluation? Can't remember from the webchat Dr Chuck had back in October.
 
Boston-area prospective applicants: today is the last day to register to attend the Case reception at the upcoming Yankee Dental conference on February 1. If you are seriously interested in going to Case, it would be a good idea to come and meet the Dean and other area alumni.

Anyone else having trouble with the facebook group? I joined the group and was accepted by one of the admins but it still doesn't show me the group page and tells me I have to be a member to see it...but I am listed under the members. Do we have to be accepted by all the admins?

I'm not sure what the issue is if you are listed as a member. That's rather peculiar. Email me directly.

Does anyone know when the next round of acceptances will be sent out.
I know the website suggests Feb 15th, but considering a late round 2 decision, will round 3 also be later?

Last call: Competitive applicants in the Midwest who are seriously considering Case School of Dental Medicine and are planning to attend the Chicago Midwinter Meeting are invited to attend the Case reception by registering in advance to http://cwrusodm-chicago.eventbrite.com .

We also have additional opportunities for prospective applicants to network with alumni at the following events in Toronto, Atlanta, and the Michigan Dental Association meeting. We hope that this additional insight will positively contribute towards a competitive application to our program.
 
Hey Everyone! I had the opportunity to interview at Case last week and I was completely blown away. It is a truly amazing school. I felt really comfortable at my interview- they just wanted to get to know me better as a person which was a great feeling. I really had a great time and learned even more about the school. I truly feel their system of incorporating PBL is clearly well thought-out and therefore effective (it may not be for everyone but I like the PBL style of learning). Everything was super organized and the students seemed really happy to be there. If anyone has any questions about what my interview experience was like, feel free to ask! 🙂

Now just gotta wait for round 3 acceptances to be sent out!

Anyone else can correct me if I'm wrong but I think its another $1000
