I got a letter today about voiding my score because of my verbal reasoning.
What it also said is "You may expect your scores on or about February 28".

22 days to go until the big day!

I'm pretty sure they made a final decision about the test error way in advance. I can't imagine the people at AAMC risking messing up on the same thing twice. However, the only other difference between Jan test day and last august test day is the fact that it was CBT based. Maybe their having problems loading the CBT scores into their server or something.
1. Technical difficulties due to CBT
2. Verbal section reconsiderations
3. They're being asses about it

Thats how I would look at it.

I really don't understand why they just can't tell us an exact day and time that the scores will be up! It would save me from checking every ten minutes and allow me to be much more productive haha I can't do anything right now I just keep hoping the scores are finally up... I wonder how much more time... I am banking on the midnight ET so 10 pm my time which is in less than 3 1/2 hours... hopefully 🙂

I'm with you. I'll be very disappointed if I don't see the scores sometime tonight.

The AAMC has messed up registration for the new MCAT, delivery of the proper form of the MCAT and now posting of scores. I can't wait to see how their incompetence affects my applications later this year.

Are scores still slated to be relased at 10pm CST tonight? And if not why are they so cruel to already downtrodden premeds?

Don't bank on seeing them tonight... They usually post the exact releasing time a few hours before the release...

Well, I guess we aren't seeing the scores tonight. I guess I'll tear myself away from the library and go to my apartment with no internet where I can't check anymore. I want to know!

And, I'm pretty nervous/stoked. First MCAT and I seriously hope the last. I salute those who have the strength to take it multiple times...the fear of returning to those books again is definitely a motivator the first time around.

Who can guess the actual score release date and time? Let's name two champs: the absolute closest and then the "Price Is Right" winner (closest without going over). All times will be eastern standard time unless otherwise stated.

My guess is 28 Feb 2007 10:30 a.m.

What can I say, I'm bored.

I'm lightheaded, sore all over and I have a headache...is it possible that waiting for my scores has given me a fever?!

It would be great if they sprung it upon us. I really doubt it though. Why would they take so long to release scores? I'm sure they have them ready in some server already.

When it comes to surprises AAMC's track record hasn't been too pleasing. 👎

In the past they posted a time, but this score release hasn't followed the pattern of previous releases (or we'd already have our scores).

Don't count on an email. They expect you to check the site on your own.

Yes, I had AAMC troubles signing up for a 2nd test. That's another $50 I'll never see again. And calling them raises my blood pressure. Definitely not good.

I don't know about you all, but I don't think I can bear to look at my scores until this weekend. I have quite a bit going on, and somehow, if it's good or bad, I won't be able to concentrate on what needs to be done by Friday. I don't know; we'll see if I can't handle it and crack anyway.
