Yes Ms. Perry said that the acceptance packages needed to be signed for and she will ask for a good address to send you everything. Keep your fingers crossed and good luck, again congrats to everyone accepted and join the Facebook group!
 
Rejection email came today. My figures: 25AA, 24PAT, 3.29 GPA, in state, Peace Corps.

I was told via phone call that I was accepted and she just asked for my preferred mailing address, which is a P.O. Box....all she said was that is fine.
So I am not sure if I will have to sign for it once I pick it up at the post office or if it will just be in my box. I will let you know in 9 days (she said it will take approximately 10 days to get to me).

Has anyone else already received their packet? If so does it say how long you have to make your decision?

I'm sorry to hear that. I know exactly how it feels because I received the exact same email last cycle. It hurts but I'm sure you'll get in somewhere with those high DAT! Good luck at your other interviews!
 
I got the rejection email at noon yesterday. They never even asked me for an interview. I will try to ask why in person next semester. Depending on what offers I get, I may wait a year in hope of affordable tuition.

Got my rejection e-mail yesterday as well. Oddly enough I had literally just got out of the dentists office when I checked my e-mail. It hurts but I was kind of expecting it. Good luck to all you other guys still waiting!

That stinks. Im sure there will be other opportunities to come. Were you in state or out of state? Interviewed?
 
I received an email from Dr. Hanes regarding my transcript, and it was a coding error. She did say though that if we did not receive a phone call Monday or a rejection letter yet, the app is still under review. So if they've only called Monday, they've got a lot more to make.
 
If they made a decision on your app already, you were either notified of an acceptance or rejection as with the 2 posters who got a rejection email. She also said that an acceptance can be a call, standard mail, or email.

Rejection from GRU 🙁 It's a great school but I guess not being a resident held me back. At least GRU offers "rejection interviews" to tell you why you didn't get in 🙂 and they looove re-applicants

For those of you wondering when the acceptance packages would come, mine arrived today registered mail and you must sign for it or they leave a USPS pink slip in yor mailbox.
 
Well folks, Good luck! Now its time to ban myself from SDN until after Finals (we'll see if that happens!!!)

Mine was a couple days ago.
21 AA 22 PAT UGA grad 3.42 GPA and in teach for america, GRU has no love for the americorps programs haha
 
Got my wait list/alternate letter today in the mail..... Anyone know how fast it moves? Good luck to everyone
 
Florida, not sure of the post marking, I'm in another state at grad school and my wife called me. I will inquire and post later.
 
Dang, seems like a lot of people, like me, are just getting straight up rejected... Interesting...

Nah, that' what I am saying that it seems like a decent amount of people are just getting straight up rejected with no interview offer, and they seem to meet the normal qualifications for at least an interview. Just thought it was interesting.
 
The alt list letterhead has a date of 12/6 (day of the last interview) FYI
 
So the postmark on the Alt list was actually 12/9.... Guess the letter was written early.

Just got the call. She said she was calling more people so she can "get out of the office." Interviewed 11/1

I'm declining my acceptance though. I'm sure it will go to the right person. 🙂

Just got "the call" from Dr. Hanes! So excited! Hope the calls keep rolling in for all of yall!
