first time posting getting pretty damn nervous about this test. wish i would've started studying before the second week of may...
done all but 11 for aamc and just did gold standard test 3 the other day has anyone done GS test 4 or aamc test 11 and have feedback?

omfg! Just finished takinc AAMC 8 and my score dropped hella. It didn't even feel a difficult exam. Apart from a few foreign concepts, I didn't feel stumped, so I don't know how I did so poorly (apart from a few distractions that might've tripped me up) . This is so frustrating. I really don't want to postpone at this point, and I feel like I still have time to improve, but I thought I'd have a lot more stability in my scores by now. :/

blah, think I have to push. Today's FL went awful, with a combination of being overtired, being insanely drowsy from a new medication, and my laptop shutting down mid verbal section, I dropped two points.....

I just want to crack a 30....sigh

lol vanillabear you can't count that as a real FL experience then XD
You haven't cracked a 30?

No 🙁

AAMC 3, 4, 5, 7, 9: 26 (7/10/9), 26(7/9/10), 29(8/10/11), 29(10/9/10), 27(10/9/8).

the 27 being the awfulness that occurred today. Both 29's I felt like I was right on the cusp, but the bio today really threw me for some reason. Probably going to review it after dinner and submit my AMCAS tonight...get one thing off of my mind

you know those scores aren't bad. Since my GS PS average is around 11, I think I can get at least a 10 on the real deal, probably an 11. VR is hitting around 9-10, so I will say either 8-9 for VR, and BS is around 10-11, so I think I will get a 9-10 on BS. So thats 10-11, 8-9, 9-10. So I'm thinking 27-30 at this point, I think I will get around 28 11/8/9 or 10/9/9.

Yeah, I'm just in a defeatist mood- literally as soon as I finished the FL, a virus took control of my computer, saying the FBI had seized it unless I paid $300 for a whole bunch of things I didn't do....yay scams! Haha, so I'm working on fixing my computer now which is just wasting time.

I do think July 2nd might work out better logistically, I have access to the self assessments from TPR that I haven't used yet, and I think I'm in need of them....and I might buy the GS full lengths since I only have 3 AAMCs left. Have you found them helpful/comparable to the aamc ones?

Just worried about if the delay will actually be worth it

Lol I got that virus a while back too....it was not fun.
So, GS PS is amazing, since they say PS is brutally hard now, it should be the best preparation, IMO, for preparing, even better than AAMC PS. GS PS is brutally hard as well.
GS BS is very specific, but it is still great practice and you learn a good bit, so I'd say it is worth it to couple them with AAMC BS.
GS VR sucks. They do. Just keep doing whatever you are doing for VR lol

the least fun part was thinking the FBI had actually locked my computer....too gullible for my own good. been running virus scans and nothings coming up, dunno what else to do now haha

I'm running super low on cash, so I might try to to tough it out with some of the TPR exams that I haven't used, but my interest is definitely peaked in the GS.

have you ever used Chad's videos? I definitely think it helped me with gen chem, working on his orgo/physics now and bio if I have time.

AAMC 10: 10/5/9
I hit a new low in verbal, hence the freakout

PS: those anode questions really threw me off.
verbal: I actually thought I was doing great
BS: kinda BS, a buncha fertility stuff I havnt reviewed...how the heck are we supposed to know what a vole is?

Typically folks get 1 or 2 points above their GS average so i am pretty sure you can nail 12+ for both PS and BS in the actual....🙂.

lol really? Im expecting the worst, hoping for the best. You better believe if I get 12/8-9/12 on the real deal, I will film myself doing my rendition of UNK's Walk it out, in combination with "wutang dancing" and "soulja boy" and send it to my mother.

Keep your head up, but you need to really review this exam. I scored EXACTLY how I scored on AAMC 10 on the real deal.

Ha ha.....i know how you feel.....be confident. U did your grind and have some scores to back it up. VR is a killer for me to so I know I will be 07 to 09 on that one, but I hope I can sneak a 11+ on PS and BS on the actual. I am on for 07/02 btw....

sorry lol...Idk what to make of that verbal score tho. I took aamc 3 a while ago and got a 10. 9 on the actual thing last year with out doing a damn thing. And now a 6 followed by a 5...
Keep moving brother. Don't despair. Everybody has one or two spoilers.......practice VR more.....before you take the next one....

So your score was pretty close to your AAMC average?[/QUOT
Yes. However, I when I retook AAMC 3-9 I was scoring 31-34 So it was close to my AAMC 10
And 11

I actually scored 2 points higher on the actual test than any of my AAMCs last year. Luck is definitely a factor, sometimes you get stuff you know well. Unless you've studied everything inside/out, then idk

OMG just finished AAMC Physics SA it was brutal. I was totally defeated by the end. I ended up performing way better than I thought though, and it pointed out my major flaws to focus on. So if anyone was still wondering if it's a good investment I vote yes, just give yourself ample time to do it.

Took the Physics SA before my first try on MCAT: I got an 80 percent. And yet I only got a 9 on the real deal the first time ,but that might be for a multitude of other reasons lol

Just took PS and VR sections on GS 4. That PS section I thought was unbelievably hard but going through it after I noticed like 7 questions that I made dumb mistakes on
PS: 9
VR: 9
also is VR for GS not worth it to take? i've heard it isn't too helpful for the real deal

Any body have any opinions on the TPR CRacking Test 1?

just took it and got a 35 12-11-12. The PS and BS were annoying and I found the Verbal difficult but somehow managed to score an 11

ugh i hate TPR cracking. it's the most inconsistent out of all the tests i have taken. i got a 37 on TPR cracking 1 (13, 11, 13) and i've been hitting around 37-41 on aamc and kaplan so I thought TPR was legit, but when I took TPR 2 and 3 I got a 31 and 29. take it with a grain of salt i guess. I think most people say it's harder than the actual MCAT, idk
11 DAYS

I dont see why everyone gets crushed on TPR 1-5 even with high AAMC scores. I mean i do get like 32-33 on those too.
TPR tests are hard but their like a different annoying kind of hard. AAMC is more about understanding the passage which is scary if the passage is obscure .but TPR is just complicated tests on stuff you already know
