Hey so I know a lot of us were posting on June MCAT'ers unite, but I want to get to know the progress of all of us 6/21'ers in particular. Let's do it.
I know what u mean i feel like im starting to slack and forgetting stuff.Wish I had scheduled for June 13. So exhausted, but taking a day off doesn't seem possible. 9 days!!
Hey Sexappeal1, are working through GS practice tests improving your AAMCs? how would you rate them in your test prep?go cougs yeah the BS for GS is really hard though. I got an 11 on GS 4 BS. But GS4 PS was INSANE!!!
First off stop using EK101... Idk why people love it I gave up after Test 10 because it was just way too absurd and unlike the real deal.Could some of you tell me how you improved your VR scores say from 7 and 8 to 10 perhaps ? Appreciate it. Thanks! Yes I am doing TPR VW and EK101. So by doing those two consistently, will the scores improve?
Thanks bro. I appreciate your response. And u are right. The basic problem with me is 'interest'. I have to somehow create that mindset when reading passages.....First off stop using EK101... Idk why people love it I gave up after Test 10 because it was just way too absurd and unlike the real deal.
Second I think you should try reading the passage as if you are interested and looking for the main idea.. connecting paragraphs to the thesis. When answering the question pick the least wrong answer.. going str8 to the answer will land you in a trap. And learn when to give up on a question.
Saxappeal.....good job on foraging through those GS exams. I am sure they will be useful in the real deal.....im actually prepared for a hard PS. Just too GS PS 9, the hardest PS test I ever took, got a 10...phew that was INSANE.
How hard do you want the PS? All of the GS PS are very difficult but some are EXTREMELY difficult.
Damn bro can I have your Verbal scores?? That's consistently my weak spot and I don't know how to improve. What's your strategy?.
holy macro!......14s in verbal. How did you get there ? What did you do for VR? I am taking it on 07/02 and stuck on single digits....8 or 9....
then do GS 3,4, or 5 PS
The rest of the time for me is actually pretty specifically divided:
Today: Review GS 10. Then, study bio , with light physical studying at the end of the day.
Tomorrow: Review Bio/physics/gen chem, then take GS 8. Review GS 8. Light studying, sleep early.
Sunday: Wake up 6 AM, do my test day routine, take AAMC8 at 8 am, lunch break, review AAMC 8. Another break. Study Bio weaknesses. Then study PS weaknesses.
Monday: Study BS weaknesses/ PS weaknesses. Sleep early.
Tuesday: Wake up 6 AM, do my test day routine, take AAMC 10 at 8 am, lunch break, review AAMC 10, another break. Study bio weaknesses, then study PS weaknesses.
Wednesday: Study PS weaknesses/ BS weaknesses. Sleep early.
Thursday: Wake up 6 AM, do my test day routine, take AAMC 11. Lunch break, review AAMC 11. Take 6 hour break. Study BS/PS weaknesses until bed, moderately.
Friday: NO STUDYING. Might catch a movie in the morning. Then, gonna drive to the testing town, get a hotel. sleep early.
Saturday: Wake up 545 AM, eat breakfast, study weaknesses/ brush lightly over all of the topics, then DOMINATION!
just took aamc 10 today.. 36 (14, 10, 12) a bit below my average but mostly frustrating at verbal. thought I did well, but it's always hit or miss. going into the last week my scores are:
kaplan 1 - 37 (14, 11, 12)
kaplan 2 - 41 (14, 13, 14)
kaplan 3 - 37 (14, 10, 13)
aamc 3 - 32 (11, 9, 12) (before studying)
aamc 4 - 40 (14, 13, 13)
aamc 5 - 35 (13,10,12)
aamc 7 - 40 (15, 13, 12)
aamc 8 - 38 (14, 10, 14)
aamc 9 - 39 (15, 12, 12)
aamc 10 - 36 (14, 10 , 12)
probably gonna take aamc 11 next week, and until then do some more kaplan exams. what do people think of the self assessments? i have them so i might do them too

Heyall, can some one explain why this question is wrong ? Like I get that both are primary amines but arnt they both aromatic too?
thanks, in other words, it is aromatic, but not an aromatic amine, aah the little stuffno.. aromatic amines have nitrogen that is directly bonded to aromatic ring..only aniline does that ...In benzylamine, nitrogen is directly bonded to carbon which is bonded to aromatic ring, therefore benzylamine isn't an aromatic amine.
What exactly was hard about it? Too much calculation or hard to understand?
