*** The Official Roseman Class of 2020 Interview/Acceptance Thread ***

Alternate as well. Does anyone know if they give you any idea of where you're at on the alternate list? Like top third, etc.

thats weird, i haven't received a phone call for an acceptance or have gotten an email for the alternate list, interviewed pre december

My alternate email says they will not release the order of the alternate list because it changes frequently.

does anyone know if alternate is given to everyone, as though a rejection if you're at the bottom? do they even give out rejection emails?

alternate status. I will probably give this up soon though. Best of luck to you all, Roseman is a great school!

Update: Pulled off the list. best of luck to everyone!

Interesting turn of events, wait listed. I'll be pulling myself off that list, good luck!

I will also be removing myself from the alternate list. Good luck to everyone else!

Alternate for me too...praying for an acceptance...this is my only chance to get into a school...does anyone know how long you have to commit to Roseman after they accept you?

did anyone not get an acceptance or an email for alternate list?

I also interviewed pre-dec. and haven't gotten an acceptance call or any other emails. I wonder what this means.. the waiting really sucks. =/

Hey guys, I spoke to Alicia today late in the afternoon and asked her about not recieving a rejection, wait list, or any other email and what the status of my app is. She said that the admissions committee has not decided on my application yet. Not entirely sure what this means. Maybe it's a rejection who knows...

Got alternate email as well.. now the waiting game begins. Hopefully I will randomly get a phone call with area code 801 lol

Is anyone else missing the business office payment agreement in the alternate packet?

Yes I am too I am going to call them today when they open...if you call before me let me know what they say

Just talked to Roseman and they will be sending out the business office payment sheet end of today or on Monday to our emails
Thanks a lot! I was wondering too. I really wish that you gain an acceptance to this program soon in this cycle. Good luck man!

Edit: I received an email from Roseman dental today that we don't have to include Business office payment agreement at this time. It will be included in the acceptance letter. Send your alternate packet without it.

anyone has already decided on Roseman ?

I thought I remembered some current Roseman students saying at the interview that their fall classes end at the Thanksgiving break, and the only classes going during December are for those who are remediating. Then classes begin again after the new year. Is this right? It seems too good to be true. When/how long are all of the breaks throughout the year?

Anyone know how many people are on the alternate list?

edit: most, if not all who interviewed and did not get accepted (I don't know if there are people who haven't heard back still)
(it seems anyone who didnt get an acceptance got on the list)

all of them.

really? so everyone who interviewed pre December either got an acceptance or is an alternate? I thought they gave out some rejections as well.

I have never heard of anyone getting a rejection from Roseman pre-March

all of them.

I don't think this is true. I'm pretty sure there are some pre-December interviewed applicants who haven't heard anything, meaning they are neither accepted nor rejected at this point. The committee is still deciding on them

It'd be nice if this was true, but I haven't seen any evidence to back this-unless Jake36 still has not heard back; either way, it can be assured that the alternate list is extremely long. I think someone mentioned earlier that they gave out the number of acceptances to match their seats for the incoming year on the week of Dec 1st; I don't think they accept more applicants than they have seats at any time.

I know many people including me, who got accepted, but are not going to opt.

Just an update, if you guys didn't receive an email on Monday. Ms. Spittle has said the "Business Office Payment Sheet" is not required to turn in for alternate packets. They will require that form only after you get accepted into the class. So I believe you can simply submit and mail the existing forms now.

I withdrew my spot on the waitlist today. Hopefully that'll help move it faster. Good luck everyone.

I thought it was too good to be true when I first saw the calendar as well but it is definitely true for D1's and I believe the D2's are off as well. This was the first year they've done winter remediation. Then during the Summer the last block is NBDE prep which ends 6/24 and we start back a couple months later but you have to take boards during that time and remediate classes if need be. It really isn't too difficult to pass of you keep up. I didn't pass the last block because I didn't study at all until the week of the assessment and had trouble focusing in class but I passed it on the remediation day a couple of days later. All of the other blocks I just studied a decent amount (hour or two) most days and then the week of the assessment I studied for hours and passed no problem. Assessments are basically every three weeks then you get a 3 1/2 day weekend if you pass.

Did anyone get an email from [email protected]? I was accepted into 2 schools, one was Roseman, and Roseman says to fill it out while the other school is worried that it's spam.

The email from Certiphi does not indicate which school it's from and I have not paid my deposit for Roseman yet.

I got an email from certiphi. I got accepted in Roseman and Creighton. However I am choosing Creighton. Both get background check from the same company. I assume this was from Creighton.

has anyone gotten rejected without interview yet? I'm trying to see if i still have a shot at an interview since i haven't heard anything yet

When does this school stops sending interview invites?

Anyone here from the Roseman after they were put on the waiting list?

I only got an email when they received my alternate packet. but that's all I've heard so far !

When did you get this email? I have not heard from them and I sent mine few weeks ago.
