Describe in your letter of intent why you want to go there and why you think you would make a great addition to the class. It might help, it might not, but it never hurts to try to make yourself stand out in the sea of applicants. I’m not encouraging people to be an absolute nuisance, but I believe that following up with the school via emails and phone calls helped me get in.

I got notified that I was placed on the waitlist December 4th. Does anyone from previous years of applying know the chances of getting in after being waitlisted? Or the timing of acceptances or rejections occur? I also wrote my letter on intent and got a reply from David Dams that the letter will be put into my application file for committee review.
 
Does anyone that was accepted know if there is a due date for which the CERTIPHI background check has to be submitted?

I emailed Brian a letter of interest mid-November, and got a reply saying he'll file the email to my application for the committee to see, but no interview or news from them since.
 
Anyone hear if they're sending out more interview invites? I'm on the waitlist and was hoping they'd pull some people off the waitlist after some people accepted on decision day decline.

I've tried calling multiple times the past week. No answer, left a message with call back number. No call.
I emailed them this morning asking some questions. Someone responded with the most automated message that didn't answer any of my questions.
i'll call again in the morning expecting the no response.
 
Do you guys happen to know if the class is currently full? That is odd that they are barely answering their phone calls

I called temple after writing a letter on intent and asked about the waitlist movement and the woman answered saying that it’s exactly how it’s written in the email
 
I heard that Temple does not like to receive letters of interest/intent. Is that true?
 
I sent a LoI yesterday afternoon and got a response that it was added to my file today. I think schools discourage calling and emailing multiple times, especially if you're just asking when you'll hear back because they're not going to release the date, but I haven't heard about any school not liking LoI or updates.

Assuming they liked your letter, may i ask which email you sent the LOI to? Communication with this school is driving me crazy. I feel like i'm trying to make a phone call from the island the show "LOST".

I emailed it directly to Brian Hahn. I think I got the email address from one of the emails they sent out before or after the interview. It seems to me like admissions offices don't answer questions about specific timelines, so unless you're asking questions about your application circumstances I probably wouldn't call/email more than once or twice over the cycle.
 
I wonder when the next round of acceptances will be? I was expecting them to send out more interview invites and accept another wave by now.

Has anyone on the waitlist gotten any follow-up since being waitlisted? I haven't gotten any emails asking if I was still interested or anything.

I’m waitlisted and I haven’t heard anything as of yet. As far as I know (but then again what do I know) no one has heard anything
