*** The Official Tufts School of Dentistry Class of 2024 Interview/Acceptance Thread ***

I had my interview during the first week of February and was ultimately waitlisted. Would anyone happen to know anything about the waitlist at Tufts specifically? How it works? If there's a ranking system? Odds of getting off it? Is there a chance I can still be denied? etc. Thanks!!

Please I have a question! I am invited for an interview for the deffered program. How would you pay for the program if they are not offering student loans?

hi everyone. So my AADSAS changed to invited for interview... but I have not received any email or contact from admissions. Is this some sort of mistake? I thought they are done interviewing so this makes no sense to me. I even emailed admissions and they haven't gotten back to me lolllll

Most likely for their deferred program.
 
I received an interview invite today! However, I did not get a chance to check my email until 10 pm due to traveling all day for spring break. In the email, it said I had to confirm by 7 pm today or they would withdraw my application from consideration. I emailed and called (left a message). Do you think they will understand? The one day that I actually didnt have a chance to check my email and this happens 🙁
 
Does anyone have experience with their deferred program? Do they give you special treatment or are you treated the same as the D1's?

You matriculate with the Class of 2025. They will require you to complete a masters program. You don't need to interview again.
Not sure what you mean by "treated the same"

It depends if you get deferred with PNPD or required to complete a masters.
PNPD is on the school website under curriculum of dmd .
 
Interviewed feb 20th and wait listed today.. has anyone gotten accepted off the waitlist and what did you do in order to get off of it other than sending a LOI?

I interviewed feb 20, got waitlisted on 3/6 and then accepted on 3/9. I didn’t do anything other than write a letter of intent
 
Has anyone who interviewed in 24 feb for the Deferred program received any acceptance and if not, did anyone email them about why are they taking too long.
 
How do you know if you are being interviewed for the deferred program? Did they tell you beforehand?

Congrats! Are you having any difficulty with the second of the two form-related links in the email? The first link works for me and loads the form, but the second link does not and I am getting "We can't seem to find the page." Thanks!

It says I need a Box login for the second link but I do not have one

yes I emailed them asking if they made a decision heard back that same day this was on Wednesday March 18th.

It might take some time for her to respond so be patient, you can send her another email if it's been a while. Congrats on your deferred acceptance!
 
For those accepted, does anyone know which institute we need to get our disciplinary form filled? I have both a bachelors and masters degree from two different universities and I'm not sure if I need to send it to both or just the most recent one. I emailed Tufts earlier this week but have not heard back yet.

the undergraduate institution where you received your Bachelor's from
 
So I just got waitlisted but I was just wondering from other people’s experience how quickly does it move and how is it determined who gets off the waitlist? Does anyone know? I’m a bit nervous since it’s so late in the cycle

It is only because in my acceptance letter, it says I need to submit some forms by April 1st (which is this Tuesday!) and I emailed like four times to get these forms and did not get a reply back or the forms that I need to submit 🙁

I recently got accepted off the waitlist. I sent a letter of intent before the waitlist, but after that, all I did was complete the extra shadowing hours asked of me on the blue paper given at the interview. I’m not sure if completing the hours had any effect on the acceptance though.
