So where does the interview take place? So I just go to dental school building by 7:45am?
The place is not indicated in the invitation email.

Just walk into HEC and there is going to be a table with your designated room and info.

The email did come with a map from what I remember.

july! i think everything was finished in august...and i think ive received two emails saying its still being reviewed

What about for people who interviewed pre-dec? Do they take a good amount of people from waitlist or do they just keep interviewing until they fill their class?

Also, have you done IPE yet? Do you feel like it's actually useful or just gimmicky? Thanks.

Interprofessional Education. I believe it is when all of the health professions collaborate with each other and have case studies.

Be yourself. Research the school. Come prepared with questions about the school. Rest well. Dress professional. Get a card and/or memorize the names of those that interview you. Send them a personalized thank you card as soon as possible (post inteveriew).

I think email or regular mail are both acceptable. During the interview process, an administrative person will usually inform you of the preferred method.

does anyone know what the itinerary looks like for the interview day?
I know it starts around 8am, but is the interview first then tour?

If I have a flight to catch at around 1:30pm at LAX, will they let me go early possibly?
I just can't find a flight (yeah, last minute booking, facepalm). Only ones I can find are ones pretty close to 1~2pm and others that are way way late, like 10pm.

I interviewed pre-december. My interview was in the morning with the tour/admissions presentations in the afternoon. We were done around 3 I think. But good luck catching a flight at LAX even if you do get out early. With the LA traffic I went through, it took over an hour to get to Pomona.

Haha no problem. Don't want you to get screwed and miss your flight. First time I visited LA was for the interview, and I couldn't believe the traffic. The interview day may be different for post-december interviews, but better safe than sorry!

Go over your application well and be ready to talk about it. Research the school; mission, vision, IPE, community based clinics... Those are huge. It also helps to get acquainted with some faculty members and their background and/or projects their working on. You may find someone that you'd like to work with later.

Take a few deep breaths and relax. The interview is very comfortable with a low stress level.

During our interview this past Saturday, Kelsey mentioned that by Mid-March all acceptances, rejections and alternate lists offers should have gone out.
Last interview date for Western is officially this Friday 2/13...
