Congrats! So very choice. I know you've probably answered this 300 times, but how's your husband's situation shaping up ?

we haven't heard anything yet. plus, there was some snafu with his letters getting to rice, so he's going to submit his app this week.

However, rice was super positive about his candidacy and he even had a professor call him to say that he would support it at committee. so, he's got a few folks there gunning for him.

Just wanted to let yall know that I got the call from Baylor today! It was my top choice!

That means that there's a spot at either UTH (should I match there) or UTHSCSA out there for someone.

Nice! Congrats, hopefully your empty seats will go to deserving SDNers. I didn't interview at any of those schools, so i'm out of contention. 😛

I got my UTMB rejection today in the mail. Thanks for that. I thought maybe just for giggles I'd contact UTMB to tell them I will be declining their rejection and am planning on attending.

If you go to UTMB and see security guards chasing a bald guy around campus, wave!

Haha, yes, i'm planning to decline all my rejection offers too. Once thats done, then i'll attend one of the schools and leave the rest hanging, wondering what happened.

I spoke with the director of TMDSAS this morning and he kindly accepted my match preferences over the phone. He also told me that I wouldn't be penalized during the match. Thank God. My freak out is over.

As for the A&M smack talk: When you beat a team 6 times in the last 7 years, you earn the right to talk as much smack as you want. That's some ownage.

I vote for: If y'all kill us, we'll kill y'all back.
