Some thoughts:

April's salt vote doesn't make sense to me - and it gives me a little twinge that she said that AM didn't occur to her, because in the last game, I brought up in dead chat that I thought her fixation on the AM/Lainey thing days after the fact was kind of odd given that both players were dead at that point. I'm not sure if I feel like it's super wolfy, but it doesn't feel quite genuine (that or her outrage about Lainey being killed was manufactured in the last game, but I'm not sure what she was trying to accomplish if that was the case, given that AM was also dead). I don't have strong reads at this point, but there are a few people who I have weak village reads on and April is not one of them at this point.

I'm willing to give ace, Lainey, and RoRo some benefit of the doubt as total noobs for now - RoRo has only made 2 posts on the board in total, so I believe the total noob thing. I don't have reads on them at all yet based on their posts.

kras and AM aren't fighting, which makes me wonder if they're the same affiliation or if kras just hasn't come back from teaching baby doctors how to do physicals.

I can see the arguments being made in favor of it though, but if April is village it's hard to imagine there isn't at least one wolf on the current "yeet April" list.

Exactly zero. We met in college when we lived two dorm rooms down from each other and basically moved in together within months, and that was over three years ago. We only ever briefly text for minor communications and neither of us have social media (except for my forums that he has not been a part of up until now)

Reading back through the thread to get reads on other people and my own post bothered/pinged me so just want to clarify - I am trying to be somewhat kind to noobs with their first posts, but this post makes it sound like I think I need to be nice to them to avoid being misyeeted on the first day again, and that's not what I meant. I just want to give them a chance to get their feet wet. If I get a wolfy vibe from any of them, I will vote accordingly.

Mine have RFID feeders so they can only access their own stuff but they each are on 1/2 wet 1/2 dry and wet food doesn't play nice with automatic feeders

Hey, not having social media got me hired on the spot for a job! My current boss likes to see what people post on social media before he interviews them. This post worries me. I really don’t feel great about players being happy about being unreadable (from a metagame standpoint sure, but in the middle of a game as a villager you would be worried about making sure your fellow villagers can read you correctly). It also feels like a strange way to respond to suspicion if you were a villager. Just sounds kind of like “you can’t read me so don’t even bother being suspicious of anything sketchy I do this game”. What was that you were saying about pre-emptive defensiveness?

I mean I thought this was already confirmed and discussed because you mentioned I had taken a while to respond to your vote after reacting to it


I also went back to reread after people pointed out that both you and Cray had mentioned Vis and April had literally quoted the unbolded vote and told ace to bold it

Eh, I think Ace and RoRo’s posts were pretty innocuous. I am very suspicious of players leaning on playing up noobness after wolfing with shorty, but one comment about being new in their first post doesn’t cross that line in my eyes. Cray, reading your post calling out Ace’s post, I get the impression that what initially set off your weirdness sensor was a naked vote being edited plus not recognizing the player, and we now know that the edit was just because he was correcting formatting.

OMG, I didn't realize that the M1s have literally never had a single in person clinical skills class before today... Lots of videos and zoom tutorials, but had not laid hands on another person before 😳
Some skills taught today, days to weeks before they take their head to toe exams:
- stethoscopes must actually be pressed to flesh to work, not lightly laid over clothes
- palpation requires pressure
- blood pressure cuff usage
- why you should cut your nails before trying to percuss
- much anatomy...
