The initial feeling is based on my gut, her responses seem a bit bland to her accusations without much of a defense. She seems rather scripted but you all would likely know better than I having only just joined... her defense for shorty also seems suspicious to me, but again having not played in previous games I am unsure if they influenced this choice.

It’s an interesting point. I’d be comcerned about people pushing alley without good reason if it were the case, but I’m just not sure that after noob game she’s been an easy misyeet target.

Which, AM, I'd like to know why you thought so. I want to say it's relevant to this game for me to try to understand what goes on in that cryptic brain of yours. It doesn't seem like you to conclude a vote for you = they must be wolf, so I'm giving benefit of the doubt there was something more she did. I want to know because I'm trying to improve my reading of players early game and VCA.

Some thoughts:

April's salt vote doesn't make sense to me - and it gives me a little twinge that she said that AM didn't occur to her, because in the last game, I brought up in dead chat that I thought her fixation on the AM/Lainey thing days after the fact was kind of odd given that both players were dead at that point. I'm not sure if I feel like it's super wolfy, but it doesn't feel quite genuine (that or her outrage about Lainey being killed was manufactured in the last game, but I'm not sure what she was trying to accomplish if that was the case, given that AM was also dead). I don't have strong reads at this point, but there are a few people who I have weak village reads on and April is not one of them at this point.

I'm willing to give ace, Lainey, and RoRo some benefit of the doubt as total noobs for now - RoRo has only made 2 posts on the board in total, so I believe the total noob thing. I don't have reads on them at all yet based on their posts.

kras and AM aren't fighting, which makes me wonder if they're the same affiliation or if kras just hasn't come back from teaching baby doctors how to do physicals.

I thought her oscillation between not knowing wolves shared a PM to noting that I was far more aggressive than the typical villager in her first game seemed unrealistic. That plus the deep sensation that kras/mayo/Lou felt like it contained one wolf led to the shot.

I don't know, and frankly that's never how I analyze posts. I worry much more about the individual sincerity of the individual making the individual post, and less about the affiliation of the person they are commenting on.

I would like for "AM and kras aren't fighting" not to be used as an excuse for a legitimate read. 1) because it clearly has no bearing on their affiliations - we know they do it as v/v, we know they do it as v/w, they could easily replicate it as w/w and 2) I like the not fighting

Also not any one post in particular but more of an overall tone, and because I'm still reeling from last game, but I can't tell if WZ is woofing bold or just really proud of herself after the last game/her tone is always just very confident

Vca is vote count analysis. It's looking at everything to do with who votes who when, along with who, and how votes change, and everything in between and then end of day, day by day, to determine motive and to see who is wolfily working together with vote placements.

Very powerful technique if you get good at it. It is one of the only objective data points you get pointing to someone's true intentions and not just what they say.

Also, Dubz is often a crazy mix of uber confident and also a nervous wreck who doesn't always know where to vote. Not exactly AI unless you figure out if she's faking some of either.

I was temporarily good at VCA when I made color-coded vote trackers, basically tallying every single vote and unvote each day. It was especially helpful after a wolf flip. But these days I don't have the time.

Honestly, AM didn't occur to me. Not sure why it didn't pop into my head but I can't control that Might have something to do with spending all day with a whiny greyhound behind the reception desk who kept screaming every time I stopped petting her to pick up the phone. I'm kind of tired of trying to have conversations with people who think I'm a murderer
