I just realized that TMDSAS deadline is approaching......people still waiting to submit their LOR or transcripts hurry up (first week of September is already over)....have three more weeks now....and October 1 is Monday it means ....you won't be able to contact your schools for trasncripts on September 29 and 30
October 1: Submission deadline for application to the medical, dental and vet programs.
All sections of the application must be complete and the application must be submitted by 5:00 PM CST on October 1. TMDSAS does not grant deadline extensions.
October 5: Application fee must be received in our office by 5:00 pm CST. TMDSAS does not grant deadline extensions. Any fee received after the deadline date will be returned to the applicant.
October 15: All supporting documents (transcripts, evaluation letters) for applicants should be post-marked by this date.
* Failure to submit documents by these dates may result in the disqualification of your application. * Some schools will not extend an interview offer until all supporting documents have been received.

I'm surprised that there are deadlines past October 1 that you can still meet. I would have thought that EVERYTHING had to be received by October 1. Can't believe the TMDSAS deadline is already in 3 weeks. Time sure does fly

im still waiting for tx schools... I feel that my own state hates me.
I heard that the cut off of RC score is 17 in Texas. You should contact the schools and check your status. My RC score is 17, and I got 3 interview invitations so far. Good luck!
i talked to an Adcom from UTSD and he said he would recommend me an interview after reviewing my app on his TMDSAS portal. I dunno about UTHSCSA. Called Baylor and Janet told me that they look at everything instead of scores.

Acceptances don't go out until December 3rd?!?!?!?!😱 If they can send out an acceptance e-mail (probably automated) shortly after midnight to a hundred applicants, I don't see why they can't send out an e-mail at midnight on a Friday night (saturday morning). That is gonna be one stressful weekend.

Do you guys think texas schools are done sending out pre-december invites?
no, i spoke to D1/D2 students at UTSD and they said majority of their interviews in Texas were october/november. The bulk is yet to come 👍

Houston confirmed that acceptances will start going out onDecember 3. Houston said their pre December interviews stop Tuesday before thanksgiving.
I think he meant that to be considered for a December 3rd acceptance you have to be interviewed on that Tuesday before thanksgiving or earlier? He said they will be interviewing 14 applicants a week through January. That means about 100 after December 3rd. We were told acceptances would only be given out to fill about half the class on December 3rd and we can expect the next batch of offers about 45 days after.
That's exactly what they told me at Houston interview
What is the point of filling only half the class from so many interviewees? and then interview again for the rest of the half and the ones they interviewed before were rejected then? Cant make sense out of it.
I don't think they do that to just reserve the rest of the seats for post-december interviewees
I'm not sure why they are doing it either but that's what we were told. He said it wouldn't be honorable to fill the class while people are still being interviewed.

According to SA they interview 300 applicants and Houston and Baylor said they interview 250-275ish. they are probably filtering through all the apps. I think other schools might interview more so they just send out as many as possible....
SA actually sent me an invite rather quickly after my application submission. I've been hearing from others that SA is actually the quicker of the three.
