I'm not Canadian but my family and I might be moving to Canada in a few years. By that time, I'll probably be done with my pre-med. I'd like to get into a US med school. I know it's too early to think about which med school and all that, after all, it isn't easy to get into med school.
I was just wondering if Johns Hopkins (where I dream to go to but have to be realistic about) accepts applicants from Canada? You see, I've been coming across threads and posts lately where students seem to express the difficulty of Canadians to get into US med schools. Why is that? Aren't Canadians classified under international students, too? (Of course it's hard for international students to get into a US med school, but why does it seem to be that some US med schools don't allow Canadian applicants?) And shouldn't it actually be sorta easier for Canadians to apply seeing as they're right beside the US?
Sorry. I really don't know the issue here, or even if there is any. (I hope there isn't any!) I just really want to know if Johns Hopkins allows Canadian applicants. I'd also appreciate it if someone will clear this "issue" up for me. Thanks! 🙂
