The video had to be "unlisted" not "public", that way only the people with the link (eg. adcom) can see the video
 
I dont want to cause panic, but with tufts being my number 1 choice, has anyone started checking their snail mail obsessively?

Apparently the last few years, hell breaks loose the the first 2 weeks of january. Meep. Esp with the interview dates later this month too!
 
I'm IS and dying of anticipation! Sending out invites this coming week would be fantastic (hinthint to the adcoms) 😀

ERMAGERHD I just want this week to be over! I want to know either way! The anxiety and anticipation are killing me!

Ultimately I want to work with exotics (ideally in a zoo setting, but we all know how likely that is, lolz) so Tufts would be so amazing!

This week is going to be awful.

I'm visiting home over winter break, 800 miles away, but I have a friend/cat sitter that visits and checks my mail. Poor girl. I don't think I included in the "responsibilities" how serious this mail business is. I've called her several times to ask her if anything good came on days when I know of people who got invites from any of my schools. She says no, so I ask her to go through every one and tell me who it's from. She then reminds me that she already knows that if I get a letter from a school, I am to be notified ASAP. Then I accept it and we do it again the next day.
 
I've been really trying to stay away from sdn over the holidays because every time I get on here and see new posts on this thread (and the other schools I applied to) I get nauseous. AAAHHHH. :scared:

Tufts is probably my #1 school, but it is also a huge huge reach school for me. Knowing we might hear back within the next two weeks is terrifying! Oh, and I am obsessed with my snail box. I check twice a day, once at 5 and once at 6, just to be sure that the snail man doesn't come later than usual. It's a problem.
 
JUST GOT AN INTERVIEW INVITE FOR THE 5TH!!!!! I'm crying so hard my mom thought I was crazy. I can't stop. And somehow I'm simultaneously laughing hysterically? And I can't stop shaking- my hands and my legs. I can't stop crying. WHY AM I CRYING?!
 
I just got an interview invite, too (Feb. 4th)! Hopefully a lot of people will be getting exciting news today!
 
My mail doesnt arrive till 3 more hours ahhh! But then again im all the way in CA, it may arrive tomorrow :/
 
OMG! I got an interview invite too!!!! I am in shock and disbelief as I can't believe that I actually got an invite!!!! I cried like a baby and my eyes are still misting up. Unbelievable!!!!!!!

INTERVIEW FOR THE 4TH! I just put my makeup on, so I am trying very hard to keep it that way 🙂

I could definitely be wrong, but I don't think your status changes until after your interviews when they've made an actual decision.

Mouser would you be interested in splitting a hotel to save a little money? I'll be arriving the evening of the 4th and leaving the evening of the 6th so I can spend some time in Boston after my interview!
 
Mine is on the 5th too and would LOVE to be able to save money splitting hotel costs!!! PM me if interested.
 
Are there any current Tufts students who could put interviewees up for the night before? I know we'd be fine with couch surfing or even floor surfing! 😉

I was offered an interview for the 31st! Anyone else on that day? I'm OOS, but go to school in MA.

It was sent via email this afternoon.

Hey all! Congratulations on your interview invites! Tufts offers free (optional) overnight accommodations with current students the evening before your interview. Keep an eye on your e-mail for contact information for setting up overnight stays (probably within the next week)! 🙂

Hmm... that's odd. Typically we have a program where prospective students can stay overnight with a current student the night before their interview. I will try to check in with someone in admissions tomorrow and get back to you soon. 🙂 I apologize in advance if our offerings have changed and I am incorrect.

I received an email from admissions a little before 2:00pm, but no change in the decision area on the services page. I agree with the above, that it probably will not change until an actual decision is made. I might also add that I am an OOS applicant.

I am bringing someone with me (as of right now), but if that does not happen I will definitely be up for rooming with someone else to save cash! I'll message around if something changes.

I have been looking through old threads on this forum for information about interviews, but have not really found anything except for advice on attire. Any chance someone could link me to an appropriate thread on the topic? Thanks!
 
Would anyone be coming down on the late afternoon of the fourth from the NYC area and be willing to carpool?


Alternatively, is anyone going to be driving out to North Grafton from either the Boston airport or a train station and would want to split the cost of a rental car?

I know I've posted about Tufts interviews several times on various threads. Most recent one might be in the interview invites. There might even be a post in this one. If not, I'm sure I commented about it on the c/o 2016 thread.
