I don't know about you, but Christmas shopping is REAL easy for me this year...I think UHS should have given us like $1000 of our tuition back just to say "Merry Christmas." Yeah. Anyway.
Hmmm...got a new pair of running shoes today but that's not where it stops for us short leg syndrome folk, oh no - the lift is yet to come.

What up people? It was 65 friggin' degrees down here in God's country. Can you believe that? I'm loving it! I'm going to see Big Fish tonight, the awesome Tim Burton movie that was filmed right here in my hometown. Anyway, I've been reading up on my endocrine, haha...I couldn't even finish that sentence. ODB said that your lessons were weak and he had to resort to Denise Austin's "Slimming Down with Polka" series.

Dont have internet at home so I haven't been keeping up wit da UHS homies!!

Break for me has been pretty good. Love seeing the kiddos. Travelled alot to all the Christmai. (That is pleural for Christmas).

Anyway.....started studying today for endocrine. Lovin' every min of it! Going to Wichita tomorrow to check out the hospitals and dorms for next year. Should be a good time!

Can't think of anything witty to say.....brain isn't really functioning. I will holla lata!

Miss you guys a little bit. It's about 54 degrees and cloudy as usual here in Cleveland. I survived Christmas in Erie with my family. Looking forward to relaxing this week and partying New Year's Eve. I'm @Caribou coffee right now hanging out. Brought my 'puter so I can be the internet-obsessed junkie that I am. Just ask John.

Was Santa Claus good to everyone this year? My favorite giftie was my new Dansko clogs. I only take them off when I shower 🙂 .

GAME ON!! I learned how to use my new palm today to download fun filled music and other accessories. Plus I got a really cute case for it. It's the cutest ever. And fully functional as an MP3 player - JEALOUS?!! Yeah, I did it.
Chrissie and I are going to lunchie tomorrow - I wish I had time to take him to the many hot spots here in Wichita, but there's just too many 🙂laugh: ) - I am hilarious.

I'm back from my sojourn to PolkaLand (Green Bay) and Rochester, Minnesota. I enjoyed the polkaing, seeing my sis, and touring the Mayo Clinic. I got back to St. Louis just in time to win at the gaming boats on New Year's Eve. To all of fellow UHS'ers...Happy New Year. Des, Disco Dave is always up for karaokeing (sp?) especially vintage 70's music.

Hey guys...
Just enjoying my last day before heading back to KC. Have been cleaning like a b#@%* today. Our house was messy, like usual. Thanks Dessie for eating with me. Quiznos is the shiznit!

Man I toured the hospital in Wichita and saw the housing. Very awesome....really getting pumped for rotations in Sept. Yeah Des had some endo the other day; toked it up on front of me without sharing!!

The holidays were decent except for fighting with my wife for most of it. Haven't fought all year, so we had to make up for it I guess. Bought a new computer for our house; one of those HP Wal-Mart specials. It is pretty tight actually. So I have been messing with it....no internet though. Hard to get good service in BFE!!

Well I suppose I should go back home. I need to get some things done, like find all my laundry in the piles of my kids' clothes. Honestly, why do six people need as many clothes to provide for the entire town of Clyde?? I have no friggin' clue!!

....I turn around slowly, and in awe, observe ODB leaning forward over an empty Entenmann's New York Crumb Cake tray, eyes open wide, cheeks puffed out, powdered sugar everywhere. Knowing that it could blow any minute, I turn back around and pretend that I didn't see what I just saw... and return to the inspiring lecture on the pentose phosphate pathway.

The ODB is always up for a shot of oxytocin.😉 Physiology, ummmm.... it could be worse it could be anatomy with all of its minutia!!! The horrible thing of it is I haven't read through last week's Physiology notes yet (I guess it's not so bad I did read through his powerpoints.) I'm so behind. I'm still in a state of mourning because of the Shams, I mean Rams.😡 I know.... lets not go for a TD when I'm on the first and 10 Panthers 15 with 32 seconds left in regulation. +pissed
Oh well, there's always next year.

we were falling off the page, had to boost us back up. i am hangin out in Clyde all week. My grandma died on Sunday (dx with oat cell a year ago) so I had to go back home to the funeral. That was yesterday (Wed) so I am just staying here the rest of the week. I am at the library now, getting ready to study.

Hello class of 2006,
I hope UHS is treating you well. I know that you have already been told where you are going for 3rd year but i just wanted to let people know how the great Grandview hospital in Dayton,oh is. You will start setting your 4th year up in the Dec/Jan of next year and I would highly recommend Grandview. We have just about any residency you could want including radiology, ortho, em, ent etc etc. Its competitive here so do well on boards and try to rotate through. I know that when i was a 2nd year i had no idea what sites were good so if anybody is interested in Ohio send me an email if you have any questions. Study hard and good luck on boards!(take kaplan)

How many times has everyone read pharm?? And how many understand it?? I think I have used three sources, read them like five times each plus the notes and I still don't know a damn thing!!

Anyway, I think I will throw a little accu needle in S5 and get to work. Got through week 3 (excluding pharm) and onward to week 4.

Hey ODB, I need to hear about the anatomy minutia at the Bazooka's sometime. Heard it is pretty cool. Were you able to tell the fusion of the urogenital fold into the......you know........
