Hey..Kind of an off topic question..But I've been reading this thread for a while and I was wondering if any of you knew if we get our interview score regardless of admission or rejection?
Yes if you ask for it, but I think you may have to wait about 2 weeks after the decisions have been sent.

Edit: Not really sure for the admitted people if they get the info

They will tell you if u don’t get in after interview. But if u get in,u don’t get the info about your score and rank

Oh, that's unfortunate.. So you're sure if you do get admitted you will not be able to get your score even if you ask? I'm just wondering because I'm curious either way!

I wouldn't mind experiencing that particular unfortunate circumstance.

According to last year, emails should come ~ 3 pm today.

=P

Why am I checking my email every 10 minutes? WHY?!?!?! There's so much work that needs to be done and I'm stuck to my seat. 🙁

me toooo,I am checking my email every 10 min although I feel it is still early for the results to come out

I don't understand what they need to do that takes more than a week. 🙁

Ha ha ha... (ahem). Did I post 3 pm? I meant to say 3:40 pm.

Does anybody know how many people were offered an interview last year?

So they had a ~54% chance post interview.

And we have a ~64% chance post interview.

Not taking into account the waitlist / people declining offers.

How many people do you think get in off the waitlist? 10?

assuming 320 were interviewed this year, that means they only need to process 40 more applicants, which shouldn't take several more days right? max one more day?! :scared:

Was it 320?

They said 350 in the email. I hope it was 320.

I was just assuming 320 based on the calculation that people on here did awhile back (given the number of interview sessions per day, number of people in each session, number of interview days).

Ok guys, lets talk about sth till this last half an hour of today's waiting game passes and then we can get back to our lives till tomorrow morning to play the same game.

How much do you think that a just after graduate pharmacist make?

I suspect fewer than ten get off the waitlist.

In the Vancouver area? I've seen postings that offer $39-$49. Assuming 8 hour days, the low end would be about 81k?

And is it true that the job prospects are quite bad unless you leave the Vancouver area?!

That's a reasonable assumption.

There's just an over-saturation of pharmacists in the Lower-mainland area, which is leading to mediocre job prospects.

why would the low end be 81k? if u make $39/hour and work normal 40 hours a week, your annual income would be $74000.After tax u would have around $ 60000 to spend which is not much

Did I calculate incorrectly? 39 * 8 hour days * 5 days a week * 52 weeks in a year = $81120 right?
And $49/hour would be 101k!

It's 52 weeks vs 4 weeks/month thing. 52 weeks is more accurate. Woohoo, more money!!!

Hahaha,
my year has 48 weeks because I said 4 weeks/ month * 12 month/yea= 48 weeks

but I like yours.more money 🙂))

Yeah... that's what it said in that "what to expect" email. They'll be sending out approx. 350 invitations.

But yeaahh again hopefully its only 320.

I am sure they will send the result after Canada day !!!!

I don't know if the volunteer just said it wrong, but during the debriefing after the interview, the volunteer said that we'd know BEFORE Canada Day. Even though he was holding/looking at the pink slip, which doesn't say that.
Dunno...

The pink slip says Canada Day falls within the result period so it is possible that we won't know until the 4th of July 🙁

I quote the pink slip: "We will then notify ALL applicants of final decisions, no later than the first week in July".

Canada day lands on a Friday, which means they're not working. Because we will receive information no later than the first week, it is reasonable to assume that we'll receive a decision either today, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

Also note how they mention "All applicants" - this includes those that are wait-listed. Wait-listed applicants are usually notified a day or two later on their current status.

$0.02

Unless they're including the first week of July. 🙁

Hm...is July 1st and 2nd really considered "the first week in July"?

Hopefully, u guys get the results soon. Waiting for UofT's decision was just brutal, more so in the last several days 🙁

I re-read the slip.

The reporting period can range from anywhere from today until July 8th. They mention Canada day to inform applicants that it's a holiday, so decisions may be notified a day later than anticipated.

which could very well mean that we have 11 more days to wait

I feel like we're not gonna find out 'til next week which is rubbish.

360 interviewed applicants compared to 280 last year.

Makes logical sense for them to take longer.

If you read the pink sheet again ,they asked us to make sure to check our email since the Canada day falls within this time ( they are guessing applicants might be out of town since it is a long weekend! so the result should be out on July 4th or July 5th
But this is again my opinion!!

BUT the website says "We begin making admission offers within 10 days following the completion of all interviews."

🙁
