Though I can't say for certain if it will come to my school address. Both my school and permanent address (still in Illinois) are listed on my VMCAS.
Noooooooooo!!!!Nothing in the mail again. Northern Illinois...
Horrible /: I have been so impatient lolLooks like it will be Monday at the earliest for OOSers. I'm betting for Tuesday though![]()
Nope! Just been through this twice and have been watching it for a long time.Do you work in admissions or something? you seem to have a lot of information about the timelines and status of acceptance letters etc.
That's why I'm saying Tuesday. Then I can be pleasantly surprised if we get our letters on MondayHorrible /: I have been so impatient lol
Could be worse..could be phone calls. Personally, I think that's cruel and unusual punishment.
I'd take a phone call as long as it was a good phone call.
Waiting for my Mississippi phone call while watching other people on SDN post that they got theirs was honestly the most agonizing thing ever. I would soooooo much rather do snail mail or emails at rhe same time than phone calls spread out over days.
I feel it's the same thing. Cause not everyone will get there snail the same day. But that is true they must of had some tough decisions 😉 let's hope they at least mailed them by now! We don't even know that lol
Oh I totally know the feeling. Purdue calls started... Thursday? I got mine Tuesday morning. I had just about given up.Yeah but the difference is everyone gets a letter whether accepted, rejected, or waitlisted. Only acceptances get the calls. So calls were made Wednesday-Friday in my case and I got mine on 4 PM Friday afternoon... You could imagine how frazzled I was lol.

I have a classmate from Hawaii so it could go farther lol.I live on the CA coast. I feel like that's the farthest mail from Illinois can reach. My mail hasn't even arrived yet.
Oh yes I feel your pain there. Never been through it but could imagine! I was hoping we would all know before the weekend 🙁 tearYeah but the difference is everyone gets a letter whether accepted, rejected, or waitlisted. Only acceptances get the calls. Us OOS have to suffer a whole weekend! LolI am also in Illinois and nothing.. tomorrow is the day!!!!!
why do you think tomorrow is the day?I am also in Illinois and nothing.. tomorrow is the day!!!!!
Cause we all feel they should of been sent out at least by Wedensday. But who knows. -__-why do you think tomorrow is the day?
Oh my 🙁 that really sucks. Def won't see that letter till at least Tuesday oI called U of I Vetmed today. The woman told me letters were being mailed today (Friday, Feb. 26).

Pinkpuppy was accepted last year, she's a first-year at Illinois. 😉Oh ok. Well I wish you best of luck this time! I only had to try once to get into vet school. The easiest way to figure out when you're going to get your letter is to go to the USPS website, they have a transit time from each zip code so you can figure out when you'll get your letter. Then just add one day to factor in the campus mail service. This formula worked for all of my acceptance letters. No need to stress about it.
IT'S HAPPENINGI called U of I Vetmed today. The woman told me letters were being mailed today (Friday, Feb. 26).
IT'S HAPPENING![]()

Yeah today they were probably siting in the post office getting sorted or whatever they do at the post office lol. First letters will be opened Monday I think.Nothing in the mail today in Northern Illinois. 🙁

I think everyone gets a letter letting them know of their status (that's what I remember from the info session). Wait listed people will get a call if there is a spot that opens up.@pinkpuppy9 or anyone else who knows, Is it true that everyone gets letters from the school regardless of admission status?
Not like some other schools if you only get a letter if accepted/waitlisted and an email if rejected?
I can confirm that you get a letter for rejections or acceptances. I'm sure waitlisters get a letter, I just haven't been waitlisted here 🙂I think everyone gets a letter letting them know of their status (that's what I remember from the info session). Just remember the USPS's creed: "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."! 😛Omg just knowing the answer to my fate is sitting in a post office somewhere is KILLING ME
