AHHHHHHH!!!!! I got accepted!!!! I am so freaking excited! :soexcited::biglove: I still have to wait for my IS but Mizzou is definitely a top choice!

This was after a very long 2 hours of the mail being late and calling my Dad every 5 minutes to see if it have arrived yet, lol.

Congrats to everyone else as well!! And Kittyy I hope the wait list moves for ya, you should definitely still be proud!

Congrats to everyone who received acceptances! Mizzou is definitely a great school! To my waitlisters - never fear! I was a waitlister (for three schools actually) and I was pulled off! Wait list just means more waiting, but keep your heads up! Mizzou loves waitlisters!!

Do you know if the 75 is on top of the 120 OOS that they said that they would make offers to? So basically every OOS person was either accepted or waitlisted?.. bahhh... and then I'm guessing the 50-60 people called off the waitlist are a combo of OOS and IS... I'm waitlisted too..
 
I was accepted today as well!!! :soexcited:Ahhh! I'm so excited! And as fate would have it, I left my letter on the table and when I came back 10 minutes later, the cat had christened it with wet muddy paw prints...naturally. haha

And waitlisters, keep your head up!!! 3 of my closest friends were on the waitlist, and thats just in my immediate group of friends, so im certain there are more !

The OOS waitlist is a completely different pool from the IS - hope that helps!

All I did was tell her I was wait listed. I didnt say if I was in state or OOS and I didnt give my name.
 
Congrats OOS! Hope the wait list moves fast for those on it. Now if only they can tell us IS when our interviews will be I would be sooooo happy 🙂

Well they haven't even had the IS interviews yet (or even given us an official date as to when yet..) so when you said you were waitlisted, I would assume it would have to be OOS.

I'm so happy another IS said interview invites haven't been sent out. You have reassured me that my contact information is correct 🙂
This admissions process is making me believe I'm a crazy person.
 
For those who are accepted (and even waitlisted) feel free to join the group I just made on facebook! This will be invaluble to you all finding roommates and such. Some of us VM1's and up will be on there to answer any questions. Feel free to friend me if you would like as well (I'm sure you can find the one who has a golden as her profile picture 😉 )

I got wait listed, at least it's not a no. It's been a rough day so the news has helped.
 
Congrats to all!!! How exciting! Now you just get to look forward to the...umm...paradise we're experiencing. Paradise is the right word, wouldn't all you VM1s agree?

Dunno if you're posting here, but I know you're at least lurking, so. You are an awesome student, you are obviously passionate about vet med, and wherever you get in, I'm sure you'll go far. Try not to let the waiting game drive you crazy, and fingers crossed you'll hear from Mizzou tomorrow.

Paradise is us having a snow day tomorrow lol I'm sooo happy I could burst! It's like the best present ever after studying all weekend for anatomy and having our anatomy exam today!

Hello all! First time posting. I got my acceptance yesterday. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted and to those who are waitlisted, hang in there, everything is going to be OK 🙂

Nope. Just checked the mail. The other student who applied at my school got his yesterday. Wondering if it got lost in the mail. 🙁

I'm in the same boat. I'm so frustrated! I called Kathy and left a message so we'll see what she says.... Good or bad I just want to know 🙁
 
It might be best to email Kathy with any questions- we've been off for a snow day yesterday and today. Tomorrow is even up in the air- so she isn't going to be back in the office until at the earliest tomorrow.
