Just heard back from Puget Sound ... waitlisted. But they didn't give me a number. Maybe because it'll change so much in the next few weeks? Does anyone know how long the UPS waitlist is so I can know my chances? It was my first choice...

I got accepted to UPS but will be declining. Hopefully that clears one spot for one of you guys! 🙂
I sent an email inquiring about the waitlist, and Dr. Hastings said they will be sending more information out after the March 1st due date for the deposit. Hope this helps some.

I got the same email as ADPT2B, but I am on the waitlist for UPS. Looking at the original post, ADPT2B is also on the waitlist. It sounds like maybe they sent out more acceptances than seats available - since they assumed some people would turn down their seats. But this year most people accepted their seat and now the program is over-enrolled? Just what I got out of the wording of the email.

I was also accepted at Northern Arizona, which would be cheaper than UPS, but I'm waitlisted at University of Montana, Idaho State and Eastern Washington. EWU would be my #1 choice as a WA resident, but I haven't gotten a chance to check out UPS in person yet.
Sorry for not being clearer. I am on the waitlist "In the top 10" and they told me to take any other options if I had them. Strange that they won't come out and tell me my number. I guess they want a bit of freedom to keep the class balanced.
When did they tell you that you were "In the top 10"?
Hey I'm wondering if anyone on the waitlist at UPS has heard anything else other than "we are over enrolled." Today 4/26/2016 UPS invited me to make a student account yet I'm currently on the waitlist and have not been notified of any changes since the last mass (over enrolled) email.

I know they over enrolled so many people they sent emails to already accepted students offering a spot for next year or the year after. So they are trying to cut down the class size because more people accepted than normal. Unfortunately for those applying for 2017 and 2018, less spots will be available.
Right, I've heard something about that too. I'm just curious as to why I would be invited to making a UPS student account if I was not going to be attending their graduate school next year. Interested if anyone else on the waitlist has been invited to make an account as well...
