It sounds like this school is one of those that wants regular reassurance that you're still interested in their institution, and that if you provide it, they might keep you higher on their list of (re)consideration. I wouldn't generally suggest that one include new employment that hasn't gotten one past the probation period, and if you are weak in clinical experience 3 weeks won't make a difference, but as an excuse to remind a school that you are still interested, I see no reason not to go ahead and include the new position. Certainly, it won't hurt you.i just got w/l to my top choice — they recommended us to send updates. I’ve been working in a clinic as a scribe for 3 weeks, is this a worthy update, or will it hurt me?
