Hi guys, anyone received an invitation email last week??????

Anyone received a large envelope from UPenn with letter saying “we are looking forward to reviewing your application in the near future”?
 
When was your completion date ! And when did they send this message to you?
 
My completion was end of March but they sent me an email long time immediately after my application has been completed

I think you need to call them to make sure to know more about this mail and please keep us posted about any news. Good luck to you my friend

They just said “You’re still being considered. We’ll let you know when anything is new”.......
Where do you live? US or overseas? Mail could take longer based on location.
 
I got the same envelope saying my application is under review.
 
Do they usually send such envelope or this is the first cycle they do that?
 
Roncerat do you have any idea when they gonna send another invitations ?
 
It is my first time but I always call and they said my application under review

It seems the other person who got a letter is a reapplicant too, so maybe these letters are for reapplicants...... hopefully they send more invites soon

April 30th was my completion date
Nbde 1 & 2
Toefl 110
GPA3.5
Masters from my home country,some work ex
Shadowing, volunteering, research work in the U.S

I got the letter and I’m not a reapplicant
 
Catdentist what is your completion date! And is it first cycle to apply to upenn
 
Does this mean UPenn has gone through your profiles and so they sent you these mails?
 
It maybe this or it’s just new tech applied to their process
 
But it doesn't make sense. I mean first they send a completion email and then after a long time you receive such letter. Why would they tell you twice that they are reviewing? I guess, they will either receive an invite soon because they have been informed twice about their application under review or this is just a polite way of UPenn suggesting a rejection.

Did invited candidates also receive this letter?
 
No clue, I didn't hear anyone talking of such letter.
 
What is your completion date? Is there a brochure with it?
