I haven't called UVM in a while, but it seems like there is no movement anyway. 🙁

I have set a deadline for myself. I'll withdraw from the wl on June 15th if I haven't heard back by then. It actually brings me a certain sense of relief... 🙄

Yes, as I had promised to myself, I waited until June 15th and then I withdrew from the waitlist. Well, I wrote the letter on the 15th and I sent it off this morning. So, UVM should get it next week.

Like Ladygrey, I realized that I had made my decision and that I was only waiting on UVM to be able to turn something down... rather immature. I was on the top tier, so I hope it bumps/helps one of you.

I just got accepted into another med school and withdrew from UVM yesterday. So, there is definately at least one more spot to fill. i hope one of you gets it. Good luck! UVM is a great place!

Thanks for the luck, St.Pius. I'm off to Emory. I was holding out for UVM because I LOVED the school and I LOVE Vermont, but I was starting to go crazy not making definite housing arrangements. I'm very excited about Emory, but my heart feels a little twinge turning away from UVM. I sincerely wish all you guys the best who are still waiting

Hey guys, I just got a message from Mary Campbell saying the same thing- no movement yet, and this is unusual. 😕 I feel bad that she has to keep saying the same thing again and again but love that she is so willing to help! She also said maybe people decided to forgo their acceptance deposit, and perhaps will withdraw later this month. So it sounds like the schools are okay about letting people hold multiple spots, just as long as applicants realize their deposit goes down the drain...? In any case, I'm hoping a bunch of snail mail withdrawls will flood their office this week and that we will all get good news next week!
