School list:
Stony Brook (top choice) but committee letters are "required"
NYU
UBuff
Temple
Tufts
Boston
Rutgers

LECOM
UMich?
Maryland?

Since I have a low undergrad gpa and higher grad gpa, what would be a good way to decide which schools would be a good match for me based on their average stats, should I average my gpas? Thank you guys for taking the time to look at this, I really appreciate any input/advice :)

Misc Info/Things not stated elsewhere/Red Flags: The waitlist for committee letter interviews at my school is long as hell, I won't be able to apply until late august/early september if I chose to wait for one. They're getting rid of committee letters next year anyways so I'm thinking of just applying with individual letters. Am I making the right decision?

do not average
take off LECOM
prob need to add a few more schools
what about upitt? the illinois schools? UNE?

UMich is ambitious and definitely a reach but can leave it, Louisville could be an option, case western, Marquette, Creighton. Otherwise I think the list is okay. I agree to remove LECOM, that stands out like a sore thumb. Do you have ties to Florida or wish to practice there? If not, maybe not worth it.

If committee letters take too long maybe getting idividual ones is better.

Is your committee letter from your MS program? It seems like you could do individual letters, but you have to choose your best 4 letters and check all LOR requirements for the schools on your list.

Network with students on your list to see which schools tend to accept applicants with low uGPA high gGPA like you. If you attended a special masters program, ask your program director where past students were successful with dental school applications.
