Date of submission: Submitted 2 on July 10 and 2 on Sept 19 after taking DAT sept 4 (didn’t submit more apps because considering applying next cycle)
Overall undergraduate GPA: 3.48
Overall masters GPA: 3.78
Science GPA: 3.59
DAT score (include AA and all sections): 18 AA
20TS
21OCH
20GCH
18BIO
18RCT
19 PAT
13 QRT (due to personal reasons I was only able to really study for about 2 months and couldn’t finish studying for QR)
State of Residence: RI
Undergrad Attended: Rhode Island College
Grad attended: NYU
Major: BS in Biology and BA in Chemistry
Minor: math minor
Minority? Yes
Reapplicant? No
Nontrad? Yes (I think) I did a MS after undergrad
Shadowing Experience:
Other Extracurriculars:
LOR type and strength:
This cycle, I only applied to UCSF, Tufts, UB, and Roseman, but I am now refining my list (based on the ADEA OG Dental School ‘23-‘24 list) since my DAT score was pretty low.
I am looking for schools with AA 5-95th percentile ranges of 18~25, OOS friendly, and no minimum DAT scores/cutoffs.
I would appreciate any suggestions on schools I should apply to with my stats! I did not take Anatomy or Micro so I know that disqualifies me from some target schools I could’ve applied for.
