Hey I got an interview at Wash U. but the letter was very vague about what dates you can choose:

Please fill out this form and return it at your earliest convenience. We will make every effort to schedule your interview on one of the three dates you specify.... The interview date should be established within three weeks of the date on this letter. We interview Monday through Friday, but not on Saturdays. Medical students will be on vacation December 20th to January 3rd.

So my question is, are they interviewing when the med students are on vacation? At first I thought probably not, since most schools I've encountered don't interview during the Christmas break. But then why wouldn't they just say "we don't interview this week"? So I thought maybe they're just informing you that if you interview during those two weeks, you can't do stuff like sit in on classes, or spend a night with a med student, etc.

Anyone have any experience with Wash? Any insight would be great. Thanks.

I called about this and was told they will NOT be interviewing while the students are on vacation.
