Hey I was just wondering who here is anxiously waiting to call Wayne State to find out about your status on Wed Dec. 15th? I know I am 😀 :scared:

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE 👍

that was my first interview, so i heard back in the october round. but good luck to you and everyone! and in case you get waitlisted, i hear it's a very active waitlist. 🙂

Yeah, waiting for tomorrow.

My parents called me at 8 AM this morning asking if I got in. I told them call back tomorrow at 1 and went back to bed 😛

Good luck!

I interviewed in Oct, was waitlisted at the last call-in, so I think that I will not be calling in this time around. If I don't hear anything this time around, I'll call in January.

Interviewed on 12/3 and was told that I am being offered a place this afternoon on the phone. Really excited now! Excuse me while I go do some more cartwheels down the street 😀 Good luck to everyone else!

I'm in, found out after calling in today. My first acceptance 😛

Good luck those waiting for letters 😛

I interviewed on 12/3 as well! I called today only to hear the bad news that I was put on the alternate list 🙁 . Well at least there is still hope. 🙄

By the way congrats on your acceptance 👍

ALSO DOES ANYBODY KNOW A WAY TO FIND OUT YOUR PLACE ON THE ALT LIST?

Congrats to all who got in.

To those of you who are on the waitlist, don't worry, it's still real early!

Would it be true that the earlier you interview the more likely you would be to get pulled off the waitlist? I ask this b/c I was told that the highly competitve applicants are interviewed early in the season, and that they always leave spots in the class open for later so that people arent just interviewing for the waitlist, and if this is true wouldnt it be possible that if they dont find more qualified candidates down the road they would pull some off of the waitlistto fill the remaining spots they have rather than accept someone during the current interview period???

Sorry for my grammer or if it is confusing b/c it is late 😴

someone i know that interviewed with me in october got put on the waitlist during the first round of acceptances but got accepted in november. i heard that happens a lot. also, supposedly, many of those accepted in october will turn down their acceptance due to getting in somewhere else they liked better.
