I know. I don't have the highest hopes, but I'm not giving up either. The good thing is that the average of ppl applying is 10 and 5 get accepted. The bad thing for me is that most of the others grew up on farms. I'm just hoping to get an interview, because then I can tell them about my plans and hopefully get a chance that way.

Idk. On multiple occasions these people have been so so so so wrong. SO WRONG. maybe it's cause I took up ftbs attitude.

I don't trust advisors but that's my personal opinion.

I just hope they are on top of things and send them out in the morning. That was the infuriating thing about davis, most of their emails went out between 1 and 4. But hey, I'll wait all day for an acceptance! Good luck everyone and try and get some sleep tonight!! 🙄

Sleep? What's that!? :laugh: i'm trying to study for a calculus midterm that i have tomorrow and the stress of waiting to hear from Western AND trying to study is killing me! Way too much anxiety! I really hope they send out the emails in the morning like you said - but at least by tomorrow night we'll know regardless.

So I was just sitting here thinking about how insane you all sound, and then I remembered how nutso I acted when I was waiting for the other schools as well. :scared::laugh:

Maybe they'll be like Va Tech and send emails at 12:01 am :laugh:.

Yeah. Gotta say being on the west coast has helped with most things, Cept WW. It was nice to get a response at 6 am from east coast and nice to hear from my weco during normal business hours.

I'm just curious, did I miss something at our interview/this thread? How do we know it's different?

At interview they mentioned that this year all notifications will be via e-mail. Unlike in previous years where they only notified acceptances in that manner. They also stressed that ALL notifications will go out the 15th. Also unlike in previous years when they notified earlier than they said they would. I have been harping on this since people started having palpitations on Monday that they might hear sooner.

The general response to any inquiry to Western on the subject by me has been "everything is different this year/what happened last year is irrelevant"

Maybe someone heard last year at 10pm EST, that has no bearing on this year except to note that they are open past 5pm west coast time so don't worry if you don't hear by then.

Maybe this was around the time when I had to pee really badly.

Or when I was going to pass out from hunger and my mother had to pipe up for me :smack:

I know at least one interview group got a non-CVM admissions dude who was like "I can't tell you anything about that it's all hush hush"
Eh, I am frustrated I guess.

But I am just trying to defuse the worrying.

Hey FTB... do you think they might email us by tonight? I'm refreshing my email every 15 seconds or so!!!! 😉😛

I gave up trying to explain the same thing as you about a week ago. But we can all understand the irrational things anxiety can do to us 😱. At my interview, Lacey (the admissions officer) was the person who spoke with us and told us straight up it would be all or nothing on the 15th, but maybe some people didn't hear so definitively. ONE MORE DAY EVERYONE!!!!!! :laugh:
 
I heard the 15th too, but , like you said, emiloo, theres that irrational hope! I can't help feeling like a kid at christmas wondering if Ive been good enough to get that shiny new bike or if I'm just going to get socks and underwear...Its almost tomorrow!

Seriously, go to bed, drink a bottle of booze or xanax (or both 😉 - just kidding dear god, please don't!) and I'll see you here tomorrow when we get to post that we are all a big happy accepted family! 😀 GO TO SLEEP!!!! The faster you go to sleep, the faster morning will come and you will have your answer! 👍:idea:
 
haven't been on here for awhile, but just wanted to wish everyone good luck! you guys were awesome during interviews!! :soexcited::xf:.. i was once in your place and the wait was unbearable! (but then again, we got the e-mail prior to 3/15). anyways - get some rest!

Good luck everyone. :luck: This school is my last hope. WAY too stressed to sleep. Being on eastern time I think will just make it worse...lets just hope we know for sure tomorrow for this has been the longest dang week!!!

Take emiloo's advice and find a nice sleep aid, I suggest a nice bottle of red wine (that's what i'm using anyways). Good luck everyone!
