Congrats to everybody who got in today! I got alternate, so I'm pretty sure I'm gunna go with my USU/WSU spot! Yay for veterinary school! 😀

Thank you FTB!!! I'm sorry some of you guys got put on the alternate list 🙁 that really stinks... but don't lose hope cause I know some people have got accepted off the list before, even though they do accept an excess of students! :xf:
 
alternate. i know i shouldn't be upset considering i wouldn't have gone to western even if i did get accepted (i realized western is not the school for me after I had already applied). regardless, i'm just so fed up with this entire process. i just don't get it, i really don't. good luck to the rest of you. i'll be turning down my alternate status. perhaps this will help someone else.

Sometimes it might be better just to find peace and move on. Be happy with what you have. 🙂

:smack: Oh brother... I nearly forgot about that fiasco. Life is funny like that. Hard work certainly pays off. At the same time, when luck rolls into town, all bets best stay off the table. 😉
 
YAY...I'm in. Can't wait to meet everyone. Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to those that are alternates. 😍

ditto! I am so excited for all of you!!! My best advice for all of you now is to take a deep breath and enjoy the time you have before vet school cause you deserve it 🙂
 
Congrats to everyone that got in!!!!! I am I am excited beyond words to be going to my IS, but I secretly wish I were in your shoes. Western has such a cool program 😍. Enjoy!!!!!

i received my acceptance letter this morning and i am so excited! i don't think that i've stopped smiling all day. 😀

this is my first official day on sdn, but i have been reading this thread over the past few days to see if anyone else has heard anything...i'm looking forward to meeting those of you who plan on starting at western u in the fall -- i think a fb page is a fabulous idea!

let the celebration/relaxation begin! :soexcited:
 
Same here! I have worked sooo hard for this and it's finally happening. Davis was my first choice because I work and live there but Western was my second. I'm still happy. I know I worked my butt off for this ( This was my second time applying) and I'm sure you guys did too. Congrats!
 
Thanks, guys! I feel a little stupid saying this, but I feel a wee bit guilty wrapping up my PhD stuff and 'ditching' it, so to speak. It's been my baby for so long.
 
I am new to posting on SDN, but it has helped me through the torturous process of applying this year. Thanks and can't wait to meet you all!
