Hello everyone,
I am a pre-dental student and I am reapplying to this program and I met with an advisor and they said to retake my DAT to get a higher score and that my GPA is fine. For those who have been accepted, may I ask for some stats on your GPA/DAT scores? Thank you and any advice would be highly appreciated. I also applied about a few weeks before the deadline so I will definitely plan on getting my application in during the first few weeks of the opening date.

Hey there fellow pre-dent!

From what I hear Western is pretty good at looking at the "whole package" of a candidate.
That being said, while my GPA was a 3.2 and my DAT was a 19, I think the personal statement and extra curricular activities are what helped me get accepted. I also applied in December so about 2 months after the application cycle opened.

Hi!! Sorry I’m jumping into your convo, but I’m also going to be reapplicant. I’ve contacted western admissions for either an appt or phone appt and haven’t had luck with the follow up. How did you meet with an advisor?? Did you drop in?

How has the transition been into the program? What is the mcat and GPA requirement in the master's to get into the D.O. school? Thank you!
