I have today off ... first 2 day weekend in forever! And it's a really nice rainy day. My goal for today you ask? Do whatever I want as long as it doesn't involved getting out of my pjs :biglove:
 
Knowing what grade you're most likely gonna end up with no matter the outcome of your last exam, makes it hard to find study motivation. 👎
 
At the airport waiting for my flight to Ohio. Yay!
 
Just sitting around, wondering how on Earth my dog got so cute 🙂

...oh, and "studying" for finals, gotta love senioritis!
 
Having determined that no, I don't have any other plans tonight, I'm having a hard time getting back into work mode for this biochem take-home final.
 
Success! I was absolutely useless today and it was glorious! I watched the entire 7th season of Bones 😛

I'm about to leave the Christmas party. My mom won a bit Georgia cooler and a $50 visa cars for me in the raffle. 😍
 
My last night in the dorm before I get to go hommmmeeeee and see my puppies!!

So I'm just procrastinating packing 😛

Maybe I will procrastinate with some wine...
 
I am going to watch the dark knight rises on my parent's huge tv...drink some wine...let my acceptance sink in some more...so unreal...I think I'm in shock.
 
9:30 pm now. I am going to get everything ready for tomorrow for the work Christmas party. Then fall into my bed and pass out for 6 hours. Then get up at 5:30am and work until 2. Come home, shower/get dressed and fly out the door. Party bus is leaving at 2:30 with or without me! 😀(and I WILL be drunk tomorrow night 👍) :laugh:
 
Just got home from seeing The Hobbit 😀 I'm so excited for this trilogy!!! 😍

Agreed!
Also, knowing that even if you fail the final exam with like a 50%, you'll still get a C+ is incredibly un-motivating. Not that I want a C, I just no longer care to study. I'm all out of giving a crap about this semester.

Trying to unwind for bed, but being irritated has a tendency to chase sleep away.
 
Being upset about relationship stuff. Not sure what to do. 🙁 Maybe I should just go to bed for now.

Working on thank you letters for everyone who wrote me a recommendation for vet school.

I suck at these. I always have these grand plans to make them so heartfelt and personal but when it comes time to actually sit down and write them, I can never seem to find the words! 🙄
 
Working on next semester's schedule. Thinking about taking a harder prof for PoliSci which would give me Tuesday and Thursday off completely since I can also move another class. MWF are gonna be really busy but at least I'll have two days off then. I really didn't like having school and work every single day. Yea, I'll be shadowing/volunteering those two days, but it'll still be much more flexible. 🙂

My thank you's were baked goods. I asked what they like and made large quantities for them. I also suck at writing thank you letters.
 
taking a break from working on the house. We still need to move stuff over before our power goes out. We also need to finish renovations before we can finish moving in. To do that, we need to fix the issues the other guy left behind. He used foam to attach cabinets to a door frame on one side.

I had boxes of gourmet truffles from DeBrand Chocolates (which I highly recommend!) sent to their houses, but since I could only include 2 lines on the card with the chocolates I felt it was important to send real handwritten thank you notes. It was a pain but I finally got through them!

There's no reason to accept right now. That spot is yours until April. If you want to wait, then wait. There's no harm in it. 🙂

Haha! Salty + sweet = delicious. I eat popcorn and chocolate in the same bite. French fries dipped in ice cream. Bacon and chocolate. The list goes on!

You're right. One of the reasons I'd accept is because I could drop some spring semester classes and save on tuition, but there's no rush for that, really.

Im in a similar boat, if I get into my top choice I will be withdrawing my app from my IS... (I only applied to 2 schools lol )
