Having determined that no, I don't have any other plans tonight, I'm having a hard time getting back into work mode for this biochem take-home final.

9:30 pm now. I am going to get everything ready for tomorrow for the work Christmas party. Then fall into my bed and pass out for 6 hours. Then get up at 5:30am and work until 2. Come home, shower/get dressed and fly out the door. Party bus is leaving at 2:30 with or without me! 😀(and I WILL be drunk tomorrow night 👍)

Also, knowing that even if you fail the final exam with like a 50%, you'll still get a C+ is incredibly un-motivating. Not that I want a C, I just no longer care to study. I'm all out of giving a crap about this semester.

Working on thank you letters for everyone who wrote me a recommendation for vet school.
I suck at these. I always have these grand plans to make them so heartfelt and personal but when it comes time to actually sit down and write them, I can never seem to find the words! 🙄

Working on next semester's schedule. Thinking about taking a harder prof for PoliSci which would give me Tuesday and Thursday off completely since I can also move another class. MWF are gonna be really busy but at least I'll have two days off then. I really didn't like having school and work every single day. Yea, I'll be shadowing/volunteering those two days, but it'll still be much more flexible. 🙂

taking a break from working on the house. We still need to move stuff over before our power goes out. We also need to finish renovations before we can finish moving in. To do that, we need to fix the issues the other guy left behind. He used foam to attach cabinets to a door frame on one side.
I had boxes of gourmet truffles from DeBrand Chocolates (which I highly recommend!) sent to their houses, but since I could only include 2 lines on the card with the chocolates I felt it was important to send real handwritten thank you notes. It was a pain but I finally got through them!

I'm thinking in circles. I'm a little tempted to accept my spot at CSU and just be done with applications. There are bunches of reasons why this would be a good decision, but there are also reasons why I should just wait two months and see how my other applications work out. Agh. I feel really dumb for going over the same mental pro-con lists and getting nowhere, particularly because I don't need to make a decision anytime soon.
Sorry to whine about this when some of you don't have acceptances or interviews yet.

There's no reason to accept right now. That spot is yours until April. If you want to wait, then wait. There's no harm in it. 🙂

Haha! Salty + sweet = delicious. I eat popcorn and chocolate in the same bite. French fries dipped in ice cream. Bacon and chocolate. The list goes on!

Im in a similar boat, if I get into my top choice I will be withdrawing my app from my IS... (I only applied to 2 schools lol )
