I am not sure what it is either... but I will only have to worry about that once I return to the states after graduation... 🙂

Ratties don't tend to live *too* long so even that may not be an issue. That's kinda sad to point out, but yanno. Regardless, I bet they can be carried-on just fine, in an appropriate carrier.

Trying to decide if I should drive 20 miles to go to a co-workers surprise b-day party(at the bar) which is in 40 minutes. OR if I should stay home and relax(haven't been able to do that for a few days) and then clean my disaster of a kitchen that I have been ignoring for 2 weeks.

:bang: What to do!? It would be a no brainer to go to the b-day party on any other night, but I have to work 17 hours tomorrow and very busy this weekend. And should be in bed in 4 hours. *sigh*

As much as I like parties, I'd probably pick sleep and relaxation honestly. I kind of now take advantage of all the nights I get to stay in or go to bed early. We don't get too many of them anymore.

I stayed home. It's a co-worker 25 years older than me, so meh.
Our hot water heater just got fixed, so I'm thinking of taking a hot bath and then going to bed. The kitchen can wait another 2 days. 😛

Also, no matter how much junk I get rid of/donate/rehome, it's still going to be an expensive pain in the rear to get my piano moved. 👎

Been there, done that, and yes, major PITA 👎

Sitting in the airport and this couple sitting next to me has said nothing but to complain about different things and talk trash about large numbers of people they know. But yay they are getting ready to board!

Going to get an MRI of my head. Yay...

Definitely get males. I swear all female rats get mammary tumors.

True, but male rats can get them as well and the VAST majority are benign fibroadenomas that can be removed. Not like having a female rabbit where you are almost guaranteed an eventual nasty uterine adenocarcinoma (spay your bun buns!)

I had 3 female ratties at one point and they were adorable pets. I think males in general tend to be more affectionate....but I don't know the logistics of keeping more than one male. Sounds like it would be trouble.

I should market that.

Want big buns? Want healthy buns? Want buns that'll keep on going and never quit? Spay your buns!

Females: 1
Males: 1 (per devyn I should call them SOV and LIS...)

👍👍

I wish someone had told me that when I was nine and raising a rabbit for 4-H. She only lived three years because by the time I took her to get spayed, her ovaries were already black according to the vet. 🙁

Speaking of 4H....our bunny has both a personal IDnumber in one ear and what looks like a 4H clover tattoo in the other one. Does that mean he might have been shown at one point (we adopted him from the animal shelter)? Or are all bunnies in 4H given the clover tattoo as well as their unique number?

Ratties are here!!! 😀

They are both males. Need name suggestions...

The black one seems to be a tad bit more intelligent than the cream one...

Getting ready for work, and reaaaaally wanting to crawl back in my bed right now. My energy has just been zapped this whole week. I haven't had any of the sickness that has been going around, and makes me wonder if I've been fighting something off.

Ours never had clover tattoos. It's possible it's just specific to a certain area though.

Watching Once Upon a Time...can't quite figure out whether I like it.

Purging my house. I love purging and getting rid of junk. Hoping to have a garage sale before we move to KSU.

Watching Rescuers Down Under(on netflix of course). 😍😍

I'm pretty sure this is the first movie I ever watched when I was a kid(that I remember). Amazing how much of it I actually remember.

Working my way thru USDA accreditation training with the help of beer.
My scores are inversely related to the numbers of beers consumed  At least we get unlimited retakes?
