I was wondering if any of you could help me with the situation I am currently in. I took the MCAT in July and scored a 499. Knowing that with a 3.01 GPA and a 499 MCAT, my chances of gaining admittance into many medical schools is low I am planning on applying to an SMP and retaking the MCAT next summer. I was wondering if anyone could guide me in the proper direction or share a similar situation that they have gone through. Thank you guys!!!

What’s your science GPA?
Was your degree in a science? If not, why not take additional science courses to bolster your GPA?
