When did you get verify from AACOMAS?

my MCAT scores did not show up until my GPA was calculated even though I sent them a month before. Don't sweat it.

Do they usually send you an email when your GPA is calculated? I checked today and my GPA was calculated, but no email.

Also, my MCAT scores have still not shown up...even though my GPA has been calculated...anyone have that problem?

I got my GPA calculated yesterday! I submitted 7/11 and got verified 8/3. I am so excited! Anyone know when the next batch will get sent out?

Alright, I got verified finally. AACOMAS is slow. I submitted AMCAS a day after, and was verified almost 3 days ago. I got supplementary from all schools I applied to (MD) in the next 3 days.

So when is AACOMAS sending our stuff out!!??

My guess would be next week. But who knows.
 
Well I submitted JUNE 22, my transcripts were already acknowledged by then. I am STILL waiting for them to calculate my bleepin' GPA... 😡

have you sent an e-mail, they had my transcripts for over a month and only after i called and emailed them did they calculate the gpa

WHAT? June 22nd? You better give them a call, something is not right. You should have been taken care of already.
 
I've sent emails & just get these responses that are irrelevant - it's so weird.
And of course now when you call you just get dumped into that general voice mail system... No more live people work there, I think.
They claimed they only got 1/2 of one of my transcripts - they told me this on 7/31 - [same day AMCAS told me they "didn't get" (read: lost) a transcript exception letter for a different school. Great day....NOT!]
Anyway, I wrote back - "What the bleep is a partial transcript, and why would I have any reason to think my school created one and sent it to you?!" !!
No, that's not what I said. I actually sounded reasonable. 4 days later they responded....
I didn't actually WAIT for their response, (I'm not a total *****...) About an hour after finding out, I had the school re-send any way.
Okay, AACOMAS STILL hasn't acknowledged that they received it. The email they sent me today didn't answer my question.
So yah, I've been ready to get a gun license since July 31st...!!

Yah! Thanks! It has been a rough 2 weeks for both my apps in spite of my great efforts to avoid lateness & problems...

BTW, I actually SPOKE to someone at AACOMAS today finally (they seem to have improved their phone set up now) and he says they are only up to transcripts they received on 8/2/06 in terms of entering them in their system as 'received'...

But check your dates against some others posted here and you should have a good idea what they're up to.

Seems like it takes about 4 weeks for most people but - who knows with these guys??!!
 
They calculated my GPA finally, but it seems to have mistakes, so maybe you're better off not hurrying them over there! Apparently they don't have calculators. :laugh:

Payments/Submitted: 6/22/06
Official MCAT Scores: 6/26/06
Transcripts: 7/7/06
GPA Calculations: 8/11/06
Designations Mailed: 8/12/06

Yup - that was 7 weeks...
 
I know...mine has mistakes too, but they are supposed to confirm before sending it out. On my app it seems as if they already sent it though without checking with me. I am currently taking biochem so I do not have a grade, so under my GPA calc, they didn't even specify that I am taking it, it just says 0 credits....so hopefully my schools will see that it is under my planned/current courses. Also, when I get the grade, how do I get it to my schools? Should I send out extra transcripts to my schools? Thanks for the input...good luck to everyone.

Only way to find out is to call the admissions offices. I only have 3 so far, but I am planning to take a 200-level writing course this year int he spring. Most have told me that they will give me a "provisional" acceptance if I get in. This means that I can be accepted before the course is completed, but I have to complete the course before I attend.

Im surprised all the mistakes AACOMAS is making, even after holding an app for 4-6 weeks. You would think that multiplying and dividing is doable within 4 weeks, no?
 
I'm still waiting for verification. My transcripts were recieved 7/28, I payed 7/27, my MCAT scores were loaded 8/1. So from what it seems like, I'm not behind in the verification? It normally takes this long?

BTW, for everyone having a problem with the MCAT scores not showing up, I had the same problem. You need to have your SSN on the AACOMAS. They don't ask for it when you're filling it out, but MCAT sends it based on your SSN. So ifyou go under My Account, you can enter your SSN and then request for MCAT to send out the scores again, and it should show up the next day.

Question. They mailed out my application 2 days before my MCAT scores were official, b/c didn't get the SSN deal. Does this mean that the schools didn't get my MCAT scores?
 
For anyone who's already been verified/mailed out - were you able to click on "My Profile" on the far left?

I'm wondering if this is the section that I am supposed to "check" before they mail my information out. At the moment it isn't a link . . .

They sent mine out, mistakes and all, because secondaries are starting to appear. In fact, they are now arguing with me about their having made mistakes, telling me my school was on a semester system when it was on a quarter system... (A) Do you think I don't know if I'm taking quarters or semesters?? (B) Can you read the transcript where it says "4 QUARTER hours"?? 🙄
 
The last of my transcripts clicked in Late July/Early Aug. (Now it says they had it since the 21st...)

anyway, I just got my GPA verified yesterday 8/15 if that helps anyone figure out the timeline.

Hasn't been mailed out yet.

When did you pay them, I think thats when your put in line.
 
i paid 7/21, transcripts all in by 7/22, and my GPA is still not calculated....
 
Here's an odd question. What time does AACOMAS update the applications?

Is it usually in the mornings, over night, anytime of the day?

just got GPA calc (paid 7/21). they told me it would take until next wed to mail out my app to schools... also, i don't like how they combine undergrad and grad GPA. the grad program i took was extremely intense. i hope DO schools realize this?

My GPA calculations were on 8/11 (incorrect...but done) and they were mailed on 8/12. Maybe it's a Saturday thing?

I'm almost 100% sure it's a saturday thing, so, yours (as well as mine) should be mailed out on AUG 19th

Mine was a Saturday a few weeks ago. I think you might be right about the Saturday mailing date. Good luck!

They do?I wasnt aware of that I have several grad school classes in biz. Is the grad scgool calculated into your AACOMS overall GPA?

How soon did people start hearing from schools after AACOMAS sent out the app? I was sent out the 19th or 20th i think.

Probably depends on the schools.
DMU sent me a secondary via email the Tuesday after it was mailed (Saturday).
PCOM mailed theirs & I got it a week later.
NYCOM mailed a letter basically just saying they got my application.
So the answer is - pretty soon after.
