A dental education will cost you between $100k to $200k no matter where you go. If you are from a crappy state, it might be worth it to go to NY. Plus, NYU students see the largest patient pool in the nation. The school seems more focused on the evolution and cutting edge technology in dentistry than many other schools. Several NYU graduates I know in their late 20s are doing much much better than some of the state trained folks in my city. Plus, living in an environment like NY gives you more of a chance to grow and learn. The city has so much to offer.
Dr.BadVibes,
I'm curious why are you coming all the way from Canada to Temple? It's probably the easiest place to get shot in the a$$, get your car broken into, and get robbed ALL ON THE SAME NIGHT. No offense, but my life to me is worth the extra $100k if I get into NYU. I would have said thanks, but no thanks:
