The big two are 1.) doing away with the multiple/national acceptance reports, and 2.) ending the prohibition on poaching students post-matriculation. Heads have been exploding for weeks now.
So it seems to me that the end result won't be changing. Seats will eventually fill, but now with triple the headache on both ends. Is that right?
This just seems like some gratuitous added chaos..
 
I’m all about early decision programs and giving the students more power.

As an applicant I hated having to apply broadly and travel large distances when I could have been matched to an appropriate school earlier and been done with the whole mess.
 
Early decision is probably only possible for very stellar applicants because you can only apply to one right? I guess it would open up interview spots for average people who are applying more broadly. That would be cool.
