WW Child's Play; a noob game

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Despite the good point made about what a Grimm may mean for this game, etc., I was not and am still not totally on board with accusing Caiter. This being the main reason why:

Teepster, along with our well-loved Trilt, campaigned pretty hard to lynch Caiter yesterday, just as popular opinion was swaying that way by an overwhelming majority. While I'm still not totally suspicious of Teep just yet (for reasons I'll get into later), I think the implications of Trilt's voting for caiter are obvious. This does not seem like a case of voting for another "wolfy" player to create the illusion of being on our side, caiter was by far favored to be lynched at that point. Why would trilt lynch a fellow wolf? They aren't like us villagers, where our large numbers allow some leeway for "sacrificial" kills to figure things out (sorry again Steph 😛 )

And once Steph became the favored lynchee over Caiter, our Krampus conveniently sided with popular opinion as well:

So idk man, this is offsetting what little doubts I had of caiter.

I'm on mobile and don't know how to do that multi quote thing, but I never campaigned to lynch caiter yesterday (unless you're counting my jokes to keep putting off lynching her until the next day, and then the next). I opened with voting for SFSteph because she still seemed pretty suspicious from the day before. And because of my private conversation with trilt, I didn't get swayed by any of her defenses later in the day. (My apologies).

Now with the elimination of Trilt overnight, I'm out of suspects unless someone has a better idea, in which case I will gladly change my vote. I just can't follow as closely as I was yesterday 🙁

and if sleuthing is your ability, which you have already revealed what more harm can providing a simple name do???

Also if Trilt knew my role than either she was a seer or one of the wolves is a seer. That means they know a few roles/abilities and are playing us all very well.
This isn't necessarily true, though! Nobody HAS to just up and reveal their name/role, when it could present an extreme advantage to wolf players in knowing what to expect from everyone each night. I chose to keep mine a secret for as long as I could, but for some reason over the past couple days role-revealing has been the marker of "trustworthiness", rather than previous posts and behavior.

Besides, what happened yesterday with trilt ALSO proved that we can't always trust someone's copy-pasted "role description 😉 Trilt completely made one up that was convincing enough to pass as real. Someone telling you their role doesn't necessarily mean they're being honest, and keeping it a secret doesn't mean they're being dishonest.
:singing:

👍

Why would there only be three? In my role it specifically states that I'm one of four siblings... i assumed that meant all four of us would be characters / players

Thank you for defending me! I didn't want to reveal my name since there's just two of us and if I reveal then you're the last one left and I didn't consider that fair.

So I'm less wary of Caiter now. It's hard for me to look at names since I'm on my phone.

Exactly. Anything said here can help wolves. Revealing yourself as a super powerful villager is great, but you also make a super tasty snack. Also revealing your name can sometimes give clues to your abilities (if it was a smaller theme/movie and someone claimed a main character)

Oh, my bad, I must have gotten that mixed up in the fray whenever you were conversing with trilt.
But if SF is innocent then its Trilt tomorrow and Caiter will have to wait until Tuesday. Lol

For everyone reading, this is the only reason I was hesitant to reveal my character name until now (as I've said before).

Also, so sorry about the inactivity, guys.

I probably won't have any students come in for at least the first hour or two of my shift, so I'll play catch up then.

Yeah, I was getting to that, now that I've spilled the beans.

Female - Solo protagonist - teen - from a more modern/20th century series - American

I am Nancy Drew, teen detective extraordinaire. Now you see why I couldn't have revealed my name early on in the game! the role is too obvious.

guys stop

They decide to head out and look for their victims. The first one heads off to find its intended victim, but is disappointed to find that this child is not naughty, and therefore cannot be killed. The second wolf oddly hovers around Trilt's tent as if confused, but thirdly, let's look elsewhere....

So there must be 2 more wolves out there.

sorry I pressured you to reveal but my death/resurrection has made me super paranoid.

so naughty children cannot be killed? I fear for my life Max was a lil brat to his mom in the beginning.

Apologies, Kam. I forgot that you can only speak in emojis... that was a stupid question for me to ask you.

I need to actually sit down and read through the thread. Almost to work now... 🙁

I'll change my vote if someone can figure out who a wolf is! Maybe we should lynch Caiter.. Idk. (I'm at school right now studying for an anatomy quiz tonight and still stressing about this FIV cat and trying to find him a home).

I personally feel a need to look further into caiter, teepster, and Kam. But I didn't get much sleep last night and have my silly class recitation at 5pm, so I'm going to take a nap...you know i'm gonna be checking my phone the whole time in class 😀

I'm inclined to agree with this tbh.
I'm surprised Cait came right out and said "YO SEER". I'm afraid to reveal much more about mine for that reason.

If you all recall, I didn't exactly have a choice. I got off work with thirty minutes to the deadline. It was the only thing I could do to get you guys to believe I wasn't a wolf with that little time left

I knew it wasn't a wise move, but I had to take the chance at that point.

I could jump on the Kam train. Don't trust her unfortunately 🙁 Who took away her ability to talk I wonder?
There is usually 1 wolf and 1 person with the ability to silence someone. Peter Pan stole that ability from someone when they silenced me. And no someone has silenced Kam. Either a wolf or a person silenced Kam...

Which means: Kam is either a villager or a wolf. LMAO

EDIT: "And we know someone has silenced Kam (I think)"

I'm still going with Devastating for now... But I am starting to doubt my gut.

As I found out yesterday, I know that she DID end up finding her Peter Pan/PBC (the Chaos). And that of course has lead to a lot of people speculating, what exactly does the meeting of Wendy and Peter mean with regards to their abilities? It may possibly make her a new Chaos...I have more info/speculation but I'm too tired to write it all up until later, I'll actually take that nap now...😴

Plus, we already confirmed this morning that Caiter outed me as Wendy. If you decide to trust her, why wouldn't you trust me? And if you decide she's a wolf, why would I be trying so hard to convince everyone if I was one too?

Let's break down what happened last night to figure out some info.
The wolves are not quiet today. They are happy that Trilt has made the villagers look like fools, but they don't like one of their own being so close to getting lynched. They decide to head out and look for their victims. The first one heads off to find its intended victim, but is disappointed to find that this child is not naughty, and therefore cannot be killed.
So one of the wolves may only be able to kill naughty children. Most likely the wolf who killed Huck Finn and Edmund and possibly Peter Pan too? I find it suspect that we had a Huck Finn yet no one has come out as Tom Sawyer...
The second wolf oddly hovers around Trilt's tent as if confused, but thirdly, let's look elsewhere.....
So this seems like there are possibly 3 wolves left? Unless Trilt was one and there are only 2 left?
Around Trilt's tent there is an evil creature, Trilt, and 2 villagers
So we have 2 wolves (1 being Trilt) and 2 villagers hanging out by Trilt's tent. At the same time as one wolf was off trying to kill a child but couldn't because the child wasn't naughty. So I feel fairly confident that there are 2 wolves left... but not 100% on this.

Yes I think there are two wolves left and we have to see who was trying to protect trilt so much. Thats why I think its teep

yes, it sounds to me like there are 2 wolves left.

I will always be wary of Kam, but I think our top priority is finding out who was helping trilt.
