In chapter one of our story, we open to find a beautiful village filled with an astonishingly wide array of characters seeking their way in the world. Some of them found common ground, while others questioned the truth behind spoken words offered up for consideration.

The mood started out as one of curiosity, then as the day wore on, the group became less amiable. Accusations began to fly. Numerous characters had to answer some hard interrogation, but in the end, a distinct lack of voice drew attention. “Chordata has said nothing! Why even his name breeds mistrust!” Oh, if only they had known. Chordata was a slip of a boy, with a brace on his leg and a single crutch for support. He had not spoken a word in so long, he had completely forgotten how. The children began screaming for his death, and the faces loomed over the tiny boy.

The mob was formed, and with all the viciousness that is expected in a story such as this, @Chordata25 , aka Tiny Tim, was stoned to death. There was one child crying at the horror and loss of her friend and stayed well back from the horrific scene.

Still others grinned at the one-sided fight. They thrived off the animosity and were pleased when the crowd dispersed, leaving a tattered and beaten body. Clouds drew over the village, and not one child felt at ease with what they had done. A single crow watched from its perch as the night took over from the day.

You all have lynched Chordata25, aka Tiny Tim, who was able to ask the mods a question about the game on odd nights.

That's why I said subtly steer us. Like if we are not looking for adults, ignoring that word in replies or pointing out the traits that the villagers share and whenever someone gets it right, praising them so they have the idea stick. Subtle enough that you aren't noticed, but bold enough that people feel good about right choices.

I thought mods hate ties. Or just players hate ties?

I love ties as a mod 😏 And I've been known to make them as a player. Unintentionally, of course. Most of the time.

the mods have to assign wolves somehow and in a game of child's play and fairy tales, making unlucky number 13 a wolf would be a valid way to assign a role.

Typically roles are assigned via RNG.

Can the wolves communicate via PM during the day, or only at night? (or should I ask a mentor person that?)

Usually around these parts wolves get 24/7 PM privileges.

Sorry, I was putting my kids to sleep so if you have moved on significantly or already answered forgive me, but this was driving me crazy this whole time.
1) "not one child felt at ease" Does this mean we are looking for adults since the children were upset and Others were pleased?
2) Who or what is the crow? An item, a familiar, or a shape shifting character, or an impartial party?
Any thoughts?
