What an... interesting night. Wow. I went to bed early last night, so I wasn't awake for any of this.

If it helps out at all... I am also a fairly recent female literary character. I'm not sure on age, but I think in the teens...?
 
Teepster has been very quiet, and jumped onto the Chordata bandwagon yesterday. Same with Trilt. Maybe wolves hiding behind minimal activity?

I've identified a couple people I'm pretty confident are villagers, but nothing seems overly wolfy, really, besides inactivity.

-I don't trust pinkpuppy. I have a nagging feeling that we should have stuck with her for the last vote. She did, however, place her original lynch vote for Aloha when chordata had already racked up two, so it would have been an easy bandwagon if she's a wolf and they knew Chordata's ability at that point. Something isn't sitting right with me, though...gut feeling.

I was suspicious of Lady just due to being Huck. Huck is a trouble maker in the books. I didn't think she was a wolf necessary, but didn't think she was a villager. I changed my vote because no one else seemed to think she was, so I figured I would wait and see if anything in the write up hinted at someone fitting Hucks description was having mischievous night actions. Clearly I was wrong, so I guess we can't assume anything based on how characters are in their stories. My bad guys.
 
Pink, I'm absolutely open to persuasion...like I said, it's mostly an amorphous feeling based on tidbits here and there. I do wonder about Goldilocks, though. She's an interesting spin on the theme, since, afterall, SHE is the antagonist in her story. And what's more, her literary beginnings were rooted in the story of an old crone, ugly and ill-intentioned, breaking in to the house of three innocent bears.

Speaking of old crones...I'm leaning towards PBC's theory that instead of baddies from our individual stories, there are a few villains/monsters who are known for specifically antagonizing children. LOTF's killer sounds like Krampus to me. I wouldn't be surprised to see a wicked stepmother.
 
also, I feel like I need to go back and reread literally everything to try and keep straight who everyone is and what everyone has said! I am having suspicions of people but I don't know if they are warranted.. I need to back and reread.

I've been doing my best to be active. I haven't had any great revelations or insight into who the wolves may be.
I'm pretty scared to reveal who I am now, seeing as 2 established people were offed last night. I'm just a boy who enjoys playing in the woods.
 
I'm going to lynch Trilt for now because of previously stated suspicions, and so mods are not angered by lack of votes.
 
Okay everyone, I'm busy pretty much this whole weekend (open house weekend + parents are visiting + vet school), so I'll try my best to be as active as possible. I should make the lynch deadlines, but I don't want anyone wondering where I am! For now, because of making a huge claim and not giving me anything else to go off of to verify it,

Lynch Mouse

Although mice are too cute, something's not right.
 
I don't have time to go back through and look right now since I'm at work, but is there anyone who said yesterday they were suspicious of both kata and lady? Or anyone in particular that kata and lady were both gunning for? I'm looking for a common denominator in them being killed.
 
At this point, I'm wary to lynch another inactive (at least those we can verify haven't signed in) without good reason. If we happened to catch a wolf, it would be a wolf who wasn't activitely hunting us down. If we're lucky enough that one of the inactives is a wolf, there's a chance they might autoconvert a villager on dying.

I'm also curious about the crow mentioned in the lynch write-up. Just ambiance, or more?

Pink, you're lynching someone who claims to be able to working on an anti-wolf ability this early in the day? Tingles my Spidey sense.

Yes, that's why I'm lynching. It's only a claim, and we have no leads as to who this character is. I could have made the same claim on the first day if I wanted to. If Mouse gets on and defends herself, I'll listen! Until then, too suspicious.

I feel like crows pop up in every ominous scene...
 
I do want to add though, I agree that Mouse is suspicious. What's most suspicious to me, actually, is that someone right in the middle of working on such an important item would advertise it to the group. Just begging to be targeted before the invention is finished, right? If I remember right, ketone piped up and said that sounded similar to her role, too. But they're both still around. Clearly not the wolves' first priority. Super suspicious on both counts.

Kata was pretty suspicious of STB for a while, and gave a lot of really good reasons as to why. I think you may be on to something there. You'd definitely want to get rid of someone who poked holes through your story, and kata is the only one who went after STB that I can remember. A few different people suspected Lady and then waffled, that one might be harder to determine.

Her only reasons for why she went after me were that I was thinking of lynching a quiet person (which many other people did as well, including Katashark herself) and that I hadn't completely revealed my role (which again, applies to lots of us). I only lynched her back out of spite for lynching me before hearing my side of the story. (which is also what kata did to lady when lady lynched kata) I knew it wasn't going to make a difference since chordata had so many votes and we were close to the deadline.

I'm assuming she was just trying to get people off Chordata's trail since she knew he was Tiny Tim/her partner. I had no idea what chordata's role was and I was just following the band wagon. It makes sense now why she was trying hard to save tiny tim.

Heyyimhaley also seen engaged in conversation today. Still yet to post, but I suppose we aren't 100% certain she's able to. Mouse, on the other hand, has definitely posted before.

Also, looks like I misread the first time, now it says 37 minutes ago.

One interesting tidbit from my *ahem* research (okay, watching Wishbone, A Tail in Twain), was that Tom & Huck faked their deaths and went to their own funeral...Is it possibly Lady/huck isn't really dead? I know that's a crazy theory but just a thought.

@rockatiel I'm interested to hear more about you. You're one of the quiet ones who only appears every once in a while. You say you're in a movie? Anything else to add? Recent movie? Like Disney/Pixar etc since those are usually the kids one? It worries me that you're so quiet.
 
Also of note, looks like certain people have profile settings that don't report their current/previous whereabouts. And many others are reported as viewing this thread, so no telling who may have also been engaged in conversation 37 minutes ago.

To consider all sides, if mouse is working on an invention, she has reason to be PMing with her advisor and the mods.

I'm drowing in waffles today, guys. Back to work for a while, check I'm again when I can.

Wait- I wonder if mouse is like jimmy neutron or something (what other child inventors are out there? I can't think right now.) Maybe that is why they said they were inventing something. Maybe they were hinting at their identity, not claiming to actually invent something.

I'm still extremely suspicious that they are consistently on but not even slightly defending though.... Leaning towards lynching them but I don't want to make another poor mistake.
 
Where was it that mouse originally posted? I want to go back and look but don't have time to search for it

I was really surprised mouse wasn't targeted last night, after posting about the wolf detecting item they were working on. Why would the wolves not mess with that?

I think I believe that mouse can make items. That would be a pretty bold lie.

Well I don't know how reliable this is to catch people by what their history is. If I leave my browser open on my phone on my inbox page, does that flag me as being constantly in conversation? We're all noobs here and I thought that's why we've got mentors to talk to.
If Mouse has an ability to make items, I think he'd need some help ing out.

I'm not totally sure of all my back story. But as I said before, I'm just a boy that's got a hundred or so acres of woods to play in. My menagerie or companions keep me fairly entertained.
 
I don't understand why mouse is still alive and why the wolves did not kill him/her if they said they had wolf catching contraptions. A trick, perhaps?

Exactly. Unless the wolves somehow knew about katashark's ability and decided it was more important to take her out of the game. It seems like it should have been way more important to remove mouse.

But still - if a wolf posted just once, only to tell us they were making an item to detect wolves - I mean, that's a pretty insane lie. I want to hear from mouse.
